We went to Redcar for the afternoon and decided to stop here because of their vegan options. Staff were so welcoming, we were served by Carol and she was amazing. Portions were huge, would definitely recommend.
Awesome gluten free fish and chips. Really crunchy and the fish was flakey, though dry from how long it'd been sat I'll get into that later. The chips were lovely and even the curry sauce is GF, though it tastes like its mixed with ketchup. That's good if you like it super sweet. My family got regular fish and chips and enjoyed there's . And for a medium it wasn't a bad size. Service was good but not fast, and the tiny shop is very busy, which is always a good sign. It loses half a star because my partners battered fish was broken up and parts of it were missing. ‍ Also, whilst we ordered three meals and gf scraps, the scraps were put on my fish and not in a separate bag so it was hard to scrape them off and share them out. Lastly, the other half star is lost because even though I phoned ahead to order, I still had to wait in line, which I'm not against, but I think my food had to sit there for a long time while I queued, because there's no separate queue for call ins and I'd ordered it for a specific time. By the time I actually collected my order, it'd been sitting there for half an hour, maybe more, and then a further 20 min to get home and dished up. In future I'll probably just drop in to order and wait the half hour so then I know it's not been sat for too long. All in all a nice fish and chips, good service, clean establishment with great decor, and lots of choice. would recommend.

I'm a bit biased as I'm not a fan of Fish & Chips, however a co-worker from the area recommended it. Have to say that it surprised me, for good. Quantity of both fish and chips are superb for the price and they're not extremely oily. Huge plus for the gluten-free batter and other oils in which they fry. Must say that the addition of the gravy gives it another touch. Staff were really welcoming and helpful, specially after noticing I was a foreigner.
The main reason we got takeaway fish and chips from here is it offers a vegetable oil menu which is perfect for Halal. Not many places offer this, so would really recommend. Only serves on certain days so check the website before you visit! Dietary restrictions: Vegetable oil menu
Fresh cooked fish from a proper chippy is always great, but I've noticed that chips from the majority of restaurants are better, but of course, none are as good as "home cooked" chips. BTW, oven chips are pants ! Parents give them to their kids, but the kids nowadays don't know any better. Bless em.
Often large ques but they are lovely fish and chips. Scraps are amazing. They are very busy but it's worth it and staff work quick. A good choice of food and drinks. The wait isn't as long as you'd expect. But hey you may be lucky.. I was the other day only couple waiting in que.
Great fish and chips, freshly cooked for us. My partner is coeliac and it was so great that he could order at the same time as me without phoning in advance or having to wait for a particular day like some other chip shops. Definitely recommended!
Service and staff are brilliant. Always friendly and polite. Food quality is never less than good and sometimes excellent, but that seems to be more the quality of the ingredients they have to work with being a bit hit and miss rather than the cooking ability of the staff Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options are excellent
We had plans to visit a beach but we're coming up empty for places to get fish and chips as most places in the area fry in beef drippings only. Read something online about Seabreeze offering a vegetable oil menu so we called in advance to let them know we were coming. Pleasantly surprised when we got there as the menu had a range of options, shop was clean and customer service was on point. So nice that there is a place like this as we usually struggle, we actually took a longer route to get there and it was definitely worth it!
