Not the International Moving Company but more the International wrecking company. Our move was during the container shortage in October / November 2021 so all prices were hiked up substantially. The people they supplied to move us from Wimbledon UK to Auckland NZ were obviously not experienced international packers as they did not use any foam or bubble wrap at all for any of the delicate items or the corners of very expensive bespoke furniture. Adding to this they have lost a Super King Mattress and large Stainless kitchen bin , left behind parts of the slats relating to the base of one of the beds packed and lost bits of various items eg..nuts and bolts etc.. This is just the beginning. I should have realised that we had a problem when the packing was finished a full day and a half before the 5 days estimated. The company they used to unload our furniture here in Auckland could not believe the way items were wrapped and packed ... They were totally disgusted and actually wrote on the inventory list as to the large amounts of damaged caused. It seems this is the beginning of our problems as the marine transit insurer they use is based in Hong Kong and does not have an assessor in NZ. They are now trying to rip us off on the payout for damages..the excuses used are unbelievable..eg. glass and fram that broke on artwork was due to climate conditions not to being dropped... Be very careful when using this company.... They have now gone silent and refuse to return any phone calls. I will continue to write reviews on all platforms , send newsletter articles to all the businesses I deal with and get then to replicate all over the UK. I will keep doing this on a regular basis until I believe they have lost 3 x the amount of money they have cost me. It will be my mission.... As of September 2023 I have now started legal action using a law firm in Hong Kong as this where they are based and ignore anyone from other countries as they have no jurisdiction in HK. So this was our only choice to not let them steal from me. I will now do the same in the UK.
I chose ReloUk for my shipment over to Dubai and I couldn’t be happier. First impressions are key and they were very professional, kind and reassuring. The crew turned up and packed my items to an extremely high standard, they were a good couple lads. My shipment was shipped in good time and turned up all in one piece just as expected. I was very worried this would have been a stressful process but thanks to ReloUk it wasn’t. I would definitely recommend ReloUk to anyone looking for a stress free shipment. Dealt with Ruby and she made sure all my worries were sorted and handled straight with no issue or complaint.
ReloUK performed exceptionally well during my extensive 12-hour move. They were swift, efficient, and handled my furniture with utmost care. Their expertise even extended to disassembling and reassembling a large children's bunk bed/slide flawlessly. Every piece of furniture was meticulously wrapped and safeguarded without any damage!
Exposing the Disappointing Customer Service of ReloUK! I am writing this post to share my deeply disappointing and frustrating experience with ReloUK and to warn others about their lack of integrity and accountability. Back in October 2023, I reached out to ReloUK regarding an issue with the shipment of our charity goods to Estcourt, South Africa. To my surprise, the CEO personally contacted me, requesting that I remove my negative Google and Trustpilot reviews in exchange for resolving the matter. He assured me of a swift resolution and personally taking care of the issues at hand. However, it has been three long months since that conversation, and nothing has been resolved. The lack of progress and the broken promises from the CEO have left me questioning the integrity and trustworthiness of ReloUK's leadership. From the very beginning, there were clear deviations from the agreed-upon plan. ReloUK failed to inform me of the necessary documents required for the removal and delivery of the goods, including the crucial import permit. As the supposed experts, they had a duty to inform me of these requirements, but their negligence resulted in significant losses for our organization. To make matters worse, instead of delivering the goods to our offices as instructed, ReloUK arranged for them to be taken to a storage facility by Kings International, without our knowledge or consent. This unexpected change led to additional charges for storage fees and unnecessary delays. Despite my repeated attempts to seek clarification and resolution, ReloUK has provided inconsistent explanations, illogical invoices, and an overall lack of concern for our predicament. This has left us with no choice but to pursue legal action to recover our costs and seek compensation for the time and effort wasted on this matter. It is important to note that ReloUK is known for their deceptive responses to negative reviews, often blaming the consumer and making up excuses. It is crucial to do thorough research and understand that when a company has your goods, you are at their mercy. Most individuals don't have the resources or funds to take these companies to court, which is why they give up. But I assure you, I will not give up. I am sharing this review to expose the disappointing customer service of ReloUK and to warn others about their unethical practices. It is my hope that this post serves as a cautionary tale and encourages others to do their due diligence before engaging with this company. #ReloUK #CustomerServiceFail Remember to always stand up for your rights and hold companies accountable for their actions!
My experience with ReloUK has been a absolute nightmare. They are experts in misinformation, promising one set of shipping dates never stick to it. Their blatant disregard for the agreed-upon contract terms exposes them as liars and scammers. Save yourself the headache – steer clear of ReloUK. Their deceptive practices make them a prime example of everything a shipping company shouldn’t be. Zero stars would be too generous for such a disgraceful service.p
