Really lovely local cinema. Much cheaper all round than the big ones and the staff were really friendly. There is also some seating just outside the screens so if you need to leave for any reason perhaps the kids are a little overwhelmed you can go and sit down just outside the screen and go back in when you are ready.
How lucky are we , we have a clean new modern cinema at our doorstep! The movie madness deals to see a film before 1pm is an absolute bargain! Recommend to everyone. Staff lovely too.
Went to see Nosferatu last night, the film was supposed to start at 5pm, about 20 minutes passed and the screen was black with the lights still on, no members of staff were aware we were all just sitting there waiting for the adverts to start, until a customer went to get a someone to see what was going on, the staff member did apologise to the audience & skipped all the adverts straight to trailers, still the film started 20 minutes late. We were sitting in row F in screen 2, where unfortunately the lights don’t go fully down, so we had spotlights directly on our row for the whole film. Nosferatu has dark lighting for the entirety of the film, having spotlights on us affected the quality of what we could see, we wouldn’t have sat there if we knew.
Screen 1&2 are really horrible unless you sit in the first few rows, the screen is not straight and its very far away from the upper half of the seats. You can hear everything from the surrounding screens, several times i watched a movie i could hear what next doors movie was the entire time. Last time i visited it was so cold, everyone was shivering in gloves, hats and jackets and the staff knew about the issue- shouldn’t be allowed to be open if your heating is broken in 0C outside!
Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The cinema was clean and the seating comfortable. Great viewing
