What a special SD Spot! From the moment you walk in, Jen is the coolest bouncer who knows how to set the tone.The entire bar experience is incredible for anyone who enters. All of the bartenders put so much care into making this a special San Diego spot!

The atmosphere can get a little much, but the food is addictive. From the cauliflower bites to the burger with jalapeno cream cheese burger and Thai wings... Everything is done so well. Even the mac and cheese bites are really good!
Omg whoever makes the pot roast sammich in this place deserves everything. So good. Also the vibes are the immaculate and the “Karafun” karaoke night was so open and inviting and fun. Seriously. Get yourself in here and have a good time.
Few friends hosted a charity event here and it was great. Service was awesome at the bar. Props to our girls and guy serving the drinks with a packed house. Service: 5/5
If you miss the service you don’t get in a touristy city… come see Tracy. Great place to watch sports and actually hear the games! Have some wings and tots and just relax. A gem in north park for sure.
I'm a fairly regular patron of Redwing and have been for many years. It is one of the best dive bars in San Diego that recently about a year ago got a bit of a refresh. It did not lose it's neighbourhood charm with the refresh though, thankfully. Tracy is my fave bartender! She remembers everyone even when you haven't been in the bar in a year. Somehow she even remembers how I love my turkey burger. That brings me to my point: Redwing turkey burgers are the best burger in San Diego. That is not an exaggeration either. I don't eat red meat and I hate veggie burgers well because they're always terrible and the black bean burgers are usually tasteless but when I found the turkey burger at RBG I ate one every day for about 2 weeks. I've turned hardcore carnivores into a lover of these burgers, too! I'm sure it is the juices and stuff on the grill from everything else that makes these so delicious but who cares they are...they should be sampled by everyone. They are always perfectly cooked with the right amount to char and are always super juicy and importantly they are not flattened to death by the chef. RBG has great drink prices and happy hours plus there is a fantastic jukebox and they have karaoke a couple/few times a week. If you come in and it's a bit crowded make your way straight through the bar out to the patio where there is a second bar. The patio bar is usually open Friday through Sunday.
The pot roast dip is still my favorite sandwich in all of San Diego. Add some picked jalapenos if you want a little heat addition or ask for a side of the ghost pepper cream cheese. The Au-ju is delicious and salty, the meat flavorful and tender and the bread toasted to perfection. The addition of the horseradish spread to every bite takes it to the next level. When it friends come to town, this is where I take them straight from the airport. Also, their fries are great, but the onion rings are perfect!
Eclectic atmosphere! We went on Karaoke busy weekend night and had a blast. Definitely recommend adding this to your list when out and about in Northpark. We had a great time and can't wait to return.Food: 5/5
Love this place! Been going here for years. Trivia Thursdays are amazing and karaoke is always fun
