This pub is in central Thetford and has ample indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is standard Wetherspoons, with food being ok tasting but nicely inexpensive. The service was helpful and quick, even though decently busy from midday World Cup games. Logistics: There is parking just a couple minute walk away, and the toilets upstairs are clean and fairly large including a few sofas in the women's lounge area.
Me and my partner had to fight flies Not to sit on our food plates. The PUB has air conditioning, but they prefer to keep the doors open so every Insect can fly in and enjoy the feast. I find this unacceptable for Wetherspoon
Stopped off in Theftford and found this lovely Wetherspoons... Very clean, light and spacious inside. Staff were friendly too. The ladies toilets were located upstairs, with a wide entrance area with chairs. The toilets were lovely and clean. Being a Tuesday it would have been rude not to have ordered from the Steak Club menu... The Gammon was amazing; the meal was one of the best Wetherspoons meals we've had in a long time. We would thoroughly recommend and if passing we would stop here in future.
Nice pub. Must have been a chip/cheese shortage when we ordered! The phot is a Cheese Panini, obviously minus the cheese! Cherry Pepsi Max only available in cans and charged per can not by the glass if served from fountain.
Visited for the first time on 27th Jan. Arrived at 6pm and managed to get the last table because it was very busy. Ordered food and it arrived within 15 minutes and it was perfectly cooked and tasted great. The whole place was clean, very efficiently run, the toilets were immaculate, all the staff were polite and cleared empty table very quickly. Why can't other Wetherspoons be like this? We will definately return.
Usual spoons, the plates are great, still look like new, the food average but you get what you pay for so cheap and cheerful. Best bit is service, staff are great.
Nice atmosphere and the food was good. Not a fan of the order through the app and not be able to modify, i.e. take an item off but understandable with the current times. If in the area stop by for a pint and a bite to eat.
If you're looking for cheap and cheerful this is the place to go. Cheap food, tastes good and is definitely worth the visit. Staff not overly attentive though and my partner actually stood for 10 mins waiting to be served a drink and no one appeared so he left. Hence the 4 stars.
Everything is spot on, staff always helpful, always smiling, the food is always exactly as it should be, if you don't like this place then it's down to preference because you can't fault this venue.
I enjoyed the food and the service. The inside and the outside area looked clean and tidy. The staff were polite and smart.
