If there's a better pub in Richmond, I haven't found it and I've tried them all. It's not the decor or the food or the drinks all of which are excellent, it's the landlords, the staff and the customers that make this simply the friendliest, most welcoming pub for miles.
Such a brilliant pub, especially when they have live music. The whole pub was dancing on my last visit! Friendly staff and guests.
Very decent weekday lunch - the steak sandwich and grilled chicken sandwiches were both tasty and the chips were above average, even going by Richmond’s relatively high standard for pubs.
It's been one of my locals for a few years now. It always has a nice pint with a nice atmosphere , nice staff and always a warm welcome from Tom the governor. Cheers Tom.
