A hidden gem. Looked like a decent place when we just popped in for lunch, was not expecting the food to be quite so good. Really delicious 2 course set menu. Sat in the terrace at the back on a nice summer's day, lovely staff, we will definitely be back.
Our team booked in for a Christmas lunch. My expectations were for a standard meal of usual pub-like prportions, but what we got was more than stellar! The team were super friendly and super accomodating. Not only did they bend over backwards for all our dietary needs but they also ran out to get fresh ginger when one of the group ordered a whisky-lemon-ginger combo. The food was yummy and finessed no christmas cake doorstops! and we all left the pub contented! A big thanks to the staff!
Fantastic oysters for starters. And the best desserts we've ever had. There was a few hairs in mine and my friends starter, which was a downer but the manager apologized profusely and handled the situation very professionally. Every staff member was really excellent, polite and fantastic at their job. Especially the polish lady with blonde hair & the young guy with angelic looking skin.
Yum! Yum! & YUM! Such a wonderful lunch - great atmosphere thanks to the front of house team and fab food thanks to the chef and kitchen team. My mama reckoned it was the best meal out she has eaten in ages
Remember when this was a proper pub but it’s now a lovely gastro pub restaurant. Great menu, great food and really friendly warm service. They even asked if we theatre goers and as we were got our food ordered and served quickly which is great attention to detail.
Great service, excellent menu and wine selection, amazing fish and chips!! Lovely outside garden area.
Quite a surprise, an old style pub that has been converted to a top notch restaurant. The original bar remains and it is well stocked. Also a good cocktail menu and most importantly they are good cocktails. Outside seating areas both downstairs and on the upstairs terrace. Great friendly and welcoming staff. Food is excellent.
Great location, in one of Richmond‘s small side alleys, Interior is very classy, Staff was very friendly, And the food we had was definitely very tasty. Definitely recommendable.
Honestly excellent. Dropped in for a bit of food not being familiar with the Richmond pub scene - we smashed it. The food, service, and atmosphere were effortlessly brilliant - and whilst you spend a bit more here than you might expect, it's well worth it. Drinks were a particular highlight - so if you're looking for cocktails it's worth stopping by
Lovely pub in a atmospheric laneway. Really good service from the staff. The beer garden is a little small and cramped but has a good buzzy atmosphere. The food was nice and well presented. A bit pricey but that's Richmond. Could easily get very comfortable in this pub and spend a great deal of time here. Recommended.
