I had a fantastic experience with Ray Chapman Motors. After a disappointing visit to a local Volvo dealership, where the service was poor and the salesman was overly pushy, I decided to look elsewhere. I’m so glad I did! The team at Ray Chapman Motors was excellent. Bradley Harrison, in particular, was outstanding—always available to answer any questions I had. The entire process, from reserving the car to delivery, took less than a week. The delivery itself was seamless, and the driver was very informative. Brilliant experience from staff at the repair centre; I popped in the showroom with a puncture issue, without an appointment, but the staff was really helpful and understanding. They fixed the problem in less than 1/2 hour and I was able to drive back home straight away. Thank you so much!
I live in Northern Ireland but was over in England for a holiday in July with an idea that I might change my car whilst there. I was looking for an XC90 and saw this one advertised at Ray Chapman York. On inspection it was what I wanted but the only sticking point was the trade in value of my car. I was on the point of walking away when Phil Harrison, one of the Sales Transactions Managers, got involved. He is a really personable chap, open to negotiation and we agreed a compromise which clinched the deal. We collected the car, which had been well prepared, a few days later. Why Ray Chapman's? I had dealt with them some years ago, used to live nearby and knew they could be trusted to supply a high quality vehicle. So a big thanks to Phil Harrison and also Tom Hunt who handed the car over.
