Rasoi Indian Kitchen
"Pravesh & Rahul Randev first experimented with Indian cuisine in 1995 with the launch of Delhi Express. This grew from strength to strength and founded a sound reputation for quality and value in the local area all thanks to Mrs Randev and her traditional home cooked dishes. A few years later the brothers acquired the bakery in Millersneuk Shopping precinct with the vision to open a modern Indian restaurant and deli for the people of Lenzie and East Dunbartonshire."

Awful , ordered 5 ish , delivery prompt . Fairly tasteless jaipuri & karahi chicken , very little taste difference , mixed pakora , some reheated , some burnt , naan dreadful . Haven't used for years , now I remember why . Shame really , we were looking forward to it . £36.00 in the bin unfortunately .
Between my wife and I we've been loyal customers for over 10 years. Ordered a takeaway on 12th august 24 for a family dinner. When I got home I found a moth like creature in one of the takeaway foil tubs in amongst the food. The creature was still alive and struggling about. I phoned rasoi back and informed them I was returning the food. When I arrived and spoke to staff and the manager, I showed them then creature in the same tub which was still moving. I didnt make a scene as it wasnt a thing, I received a prompt refund and was ushered out the door. Most probably incase other customers came in. As I've been a loyal customer i would have expected atleast a phone call later as i could understand the staff predicament but nothing, which is poor given the circumstances.
Terrible quality food. Over cooked stale King Prawns, bland sauces, reheated dry breads. Pakora was the worst, dry tasteless. This is my local so I wish it was good. Such a waste of money. Ordered 3 currys, expensive and had to put half in the bin. In addition I contacted them directly with this feedback and they never got back to me - they don’t care that their food is bad!!!
We just waited 40mins for our order. King prawn tandoori, chicken saag, rice, nan bread, veg pakora and a few poppadoms. Both sauces lacked any depth of flavour and was very wet. Nan bread was brick hard. Prawns over cooked and falling apart. The only the veg pakora was decent. Overall a waste of £50. We've ordered from here a few times, it's very hit or miss. I've given up now.
After enjoying a delicious meal in the restaurant, we decided to have takeaway meal from the Rasoi but our family was really disappointed for a number of reasons. We ordered chicken pakora which seemed reheated rather than fresh and the portion was smaller than expected. Our main courses were 2 different Lamb dishes which tasted the same and a Chicken Tikka Masala which was okay but did not contain much chicken. The lamb was tough and stringy and took a lot of chewing. The naan bread, which was very thin, was stone cold and had to be heated in the oven. The meal was uplifted less than 20 minutes after ordering so we expected better. Considering this disaster cost us over £50, we certainly won’t be back for a takeaway.
Food was great Staff lovely. As it was a week night it was very quiet. Very enjoyable.Food: 5/5
Food outstanding as always and quick friendly service.Food: 5/5
Ate here last night with an old family friend. Lovely decor in the restaurant, staff very friendly and the curries were really nice. Particularly enjoyed some of the authentic dishes they offer rather than the usual Indian fare. Really nicely spiced, not too hot and lots of other flavours coming through. Good portion sizes. Very enjoyable meal and one of the best Indians I've ever had. Really nice, if I didn't live 400 miles away I'd be back again at the weekend!
2 veg curries, 4 drinks and 1 starter = £65. We were both also very sick afterwards.
The food was great, the staff were incredibly accommodating, I showed up with 2 kids and my parents in a busy Saturday night and they do one is a table without reservation. Nice selection of drinks, a good menu with children's options which I found to be generous in portion size. No hesitation in recommending this restaurant. 5 stars.
