Fantastic pub with a really warm welcome. Great location right on the beach. The outside dining area is superb we were really lucky as the sun was shining. Food was fantastic and a great variation of drinks, a good choice of traditional cask ales and craft ales. We walked from Fowey which is a fair trek there and back but well worth it along the coastal path.
Probably the best fish and chips we've ever had - and that's from an ex chippy worker! Dog friendly outside though beach isn't which is a shame privately owned. Very friendly staff and Artie the Pomapoo loved his attention and treats!
Really warm welcome and friendly service with superb sea views and our lunch was really tasty, hot and fresh. Peroni on tap is rare in the St Austell area but it's here which is ace! I asked for extra jalapeños with the dirty fries and they were chilli loaded and so tasty, steak bap looked really good as well. We took some old school rashleigh plastic pint cups and had peroni's for our coastal walk back to Charlestown, happy days! Really recommended for food or just a drink stop, I'm going back peroni's soon!
Lovely food, great outside dining space and good service. Helped by the beautiful weather enjoying the ocean view.
We visit every so often and always nice staff, nice food and fast service. Easy access to a small car park on site and plenty more parking a short walk away
Great location, set in a little bay. Lovely little pub, with some great views with seats inside and out. If getting there later in the evening, might be worth calling to check kitchen times
Lovely staff, the food was very nice, very dog friendly + A fantastic sea view of the tarras, Can only recommend this pub.
Our favourite spot in Cornwall at the moment, excellent food good choices of local beers and ciders
First time there, as son recommended it, right on the beach stunning, we live in Derby, superb, warm welcoming fabulous service, going back on Monday the 6th December before we go home on Tuesday as loved it so much. xx
One of our favourite Cornish pubs! The best pub fish and chips I’ve ever had, and my husband had the best chicken burger he’s had outside of south London! I can’t recommend this place enough. The staff are so welcoming and warm. We had a wonderful evening, thank you so much! We can’t wait to come back again :
