Review from a happy coeliac :- Possibly *the* most creative raw vegan food in London and also 100% gluten free excluding a bottled beer and a rye and barley drink Aubergine bacon, cashew eggs, mushroom sausages and walnut bread pizzas are just some of the culinary attractions. Even if you do not miss meat at all they are a foodie experience. Cultured nut cheeses feature in many dishes and are of incredibly high quality. I found myself almost convinced that shavings of cashew cheese were aged parmesan, so rich was the umami flavour. Aside from the pseudo meat and egg curiosities there are some absolute delights within the menu. You *must* try the Truffle Pasta for umami greatness and the Crackers & Cheese for wonderful raw crackers and fermented nut cheeses. Do save room for an amazing dessert though! Service is also friendly and excellent. It would be terrific if the marvellous menu and super staff had a venue to match but although it is light and bright it is also tiny and space is very scarce. Tables can barely accommodate two plates and drinks at a time. With this one caveat, this is still a *must* destination restaurant. Put it on your visit list!
We found this place as a friend recommend it. Only when we arrived and looked at the menu we realised that this is a raw vegan restaurant! We were pretty sceptical at first, as neither of us is a vegetarian or vegan. However, when the food arrived, we were nicely surprised how elegantly and tasty food looked like. Everything from pasta and lasagna to pizza was yummy. It was surprisingly filling too – we were struggling to finish our dishes! Most importantly, our waiter Lens was super helpful, he was giving us genuine recommendations and accompanied his tips with a great sense of humour.
For raw veg it is really overpriced. £120 for two people? The Miso broth flavourless. This is an "instagramable" place. So if you like posting pictures like the one below that ought to fill you up. Service was nice and friendly.
Incredible vegan dining experience and genuinely cheerful, welcoming service. We came with a friend and splurged on their three course meal menu which is a great deal for three courses plus a drink. They were out of their usual coconut water so they gave us fresh young coconuts instead! Which were absolutely amazing. The hummus with homemade crackers was one of my favorite things I've ever eaten at a restaurant. The yellow curry was also beautifully prepared but a little sharp flavored for me. The lemon swirl dessert was amazing: zesty, light and delicious. Would highly recommend for a satisfying vegan meal in London!
I didn't know what to expect as it was my first time at a raw food restaurant but the food was delicious and lovingly prepared. I felt the portion sizes were perfect and left feel very satisfied. The deserts were phenomenal, especially the salted chocolate caramel cake. Overall I thought it was great value for money and will definitely go back!
We had a take away delivery from nama foods on a job so I’ve literally tried almost all their dishes. The crackers are amazing, very special flavoured. The kale ceasar salad was a very nice too. But the breakfasts were very good, especially the mix of dates/nuts/hemp seeds mix with almond milk, that was my favourite. So I can’t really tell about the eat in experience. Proportions were not really really filling, so when you’re very hungry I don’t know if it’s a good plan to order here.
The food tastes delicious. The menu was nice & elaborate, every raw vegan's paradise. The staff was kind & helpful. The only setback was the price. The portion size was small & the price was a bit too high. But I think that's what you're expecting at a raw food restaurant!
I'm a fruitarian 80%+ of my calories come from raw fruits and, although I typically prefer to eat fruit and light leafy greens I sometimes venture out Into other raw vegan foods. I have a strong affinity for fresh produce and natural simple foods, my taste buds have changed so much that junk foods and traditionally prepared food doesn't appeal to me. That being said, this restaurant was fresh and natural enough to my liking! Which is very impressive. The first bite of every dish was incredibly impressive but after a while everything started tasting the same perhaps there was a lot of salt and too many spices; I was a bit dehydrated afterwards. Beware if you have a nut allergy, almost most everything on the menu contained a nut or seed cashew and sesame. I knocked off a few stars due to the after taste and of course the price... we spent 63 for everything spaghetti, pizza, tiramisu, cheeseboard. I rated it three stars for ambiance as I agree with most posts that it's more of a cafe set up than a restaurant although everything was beautifully plated.
A lovely all raw vegan restaurant. Food was fresh and beautifully presented. Most of the food was served on black dishes of slate, which was slightly awful if you happened to scratch your fork the wrong way against them but provided a nice contrast to the food. Decor is minimalistic and bright with lots of neutral shades of white and gray with splashes of colour from natural wood and plants. The hostess from america was so incredibly nice. Food is a bit expensive for most people to eat regularly, but that price is reflected in the flavour and effort that goes into each dish. The 'No-meat feast' pizza is an incredible combination of very strong flavours, my second favorite dish after the 'Lemon Swirl' dessert. The 'Masala Dosa' wrap is good, especially the sauces on top of the wrap, but the cauliflower filling is a bit underwhelming and it is difficult to taste anything besides the cauliflower. The atmosphere is intimate, yet has a casual and slightly sterile feel because of the lack of decor. This is a place I would recommend to anyone who enjoys more complex and innovative dishes, and who isn't afraid of vegetables.
Lovely funghi pizza with truffles and Mexican wrap accompanied by Holy Mayan Cacao with chili. Too bad the portions are so small and quite pricey. I could definitely eat more...
