I visited with my date. He and I both had lovely meals, good food, helpful staff, in a nice restaurant with pleasant ambiance. Food portions good sized, so we had no complaints. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and beginning for our evening together. Restaurant experiences can 'flavour' a night out so much, and it was all good.
Went out for an early evening out as we rarely get out for the evening together since having a littlen. I was disappointed and appalled at the service yes the food was nice and came out rather quickly however there was just no customer service at all which made me wish I'd just ordered a take out. We got to the restaurant nobody was interested in seating us, they were way too busy watching cricket on their phones. This continued throughout the entire service and we could hear it all over the ambient music. When it came to placing the plates on the table they were thrown down scattering our cutlery everywhere. And when the bill came my card was pretty much snatched out of my hand and then thrown back on the table as though I had been a burden on their restaurant. I didn't ask for anything additional or make any changes. We just sat quietly and ate. Certainly will not being returning despite it being a few minutes from our house. £54 for two people wasted on this place.
Great restaurant. Unlike most Indian restaurants, they focus more on the taste than the spices. There's 2 different chefs. The one on Fridays and weekends is definitely the better cook. The other one is good but nowhere near the same level
Awful experience. Staff abrupt. Drinks way over priced for flat bottled coke! The dips were recycled not fresh ones. We see waiter take ours away top up and give to another table. No clear signs for what Buffett was. Half the choice empty. Cold bland and then had hair in our Food! Won't go back!!
The food here was very good. Service was nice and fast. Price was a little high for my liking, but the environment does make up for it
Nice food, but last time I got takeaway it was close to Christmas and the place was a mess. The carpet was dirty and there was spilled drink and dirty glasses in the area where I had to wait for my meal.
Had the buffet and disappointed 10 year old was charged full price when he ate very little. Waiter uninterested. Food disappointing and a lot better places to eat in Benfleet. As I explained at the time, first and last visit...no wonder the place is always empty.
Turned up on Sat evening just as they were closing. They welcomed us in, staff stayed to serve & cook for us & the food was amazing. A well deserved 5 stars. Will definitely go back. Well done Rajpoot & thank you
My 'go to' Indian. This place has lovely food, the staff are always very welcoming and extremely polite. My only criticism which is why I have given this a four star is that service is slow, this has been on every occasion I have eaten at this restaurant.
Excellent food and service. Nice and friendly. We order takeaway and also go to the restaurant. Food always lovely. Highly recommend.
