Where do I even start! Kings serves the best Fish in Chips, in my opinion in this part of the country! I have lived all over and nothing compares to these fish and chips. There are plenty of other fancy fish and chip shops around, however nothing comes close to the perfection of what you get here. If you want fish and chips, I highly recommend you get them from here. My photo is only half of a large Cod, and it was delicious as always.
Have had fish and chips from here several times since moving to Benfleet just over a year ago. Latest time was last Saturday when my daughter and I had the OAP special. The fish was freshly cooked and massive. Wouldn’t have expected bigger if we had ordered large cod. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
I don't have fish and chip's often but Kings is where i usually go when i do. My last visit was Fri 22nd. Still run by the same people but they really have stepped up their quality. Their chips were super fresh and the same was true for the cod. They had a good selection of Pie's and sausages but the chips and fish are all cooked to order. There maybe a bit of a wait but it's worth it ! Their prices are reasonable but fair and their portion sizes are good. Well done King's and if you're reading this review it's definitely worth trying this small local business.

Excellent fish and chips, very good portion sizes.
We eat from here often, nice food and reasonably priced. Gets very busy on Friday and Saturday evenings. Only problem is, they only accept cash, which is sometimes a nuisance, hence only 3 stars.
Thought that I'd give Kings a go, I've heard good things and they weren't wrong! Asked for an early evening delivery, it arrived early. Really good quality, the fish was excellent, as were the chips. The added bonus was that they will deliver a bottle, or two, of wine too! Given the number of calls that they must be getting, nothing was too much trouble. Well done King's!
Excellent food at reasonable prices at todays costs. Cooked fish to order so completely fresh, not like some fish and chip shops who leave in warmer for ages. You do wait a bit longer but as I say so fresh

Large cod and chips almost £10.00 very little cod mostly batter,in my opinion was overpriced. Do not accept card payments either cash only,I wonder why ,in this day and age.
