Absolutely abysmal service. We ordered at around 6pm and were promised a 7-7:20pm delivery time. I began calling them at 8:30pm. The first time they picked up the man did not even listen to me when I asked to cancel my order and hung up on me. The second time, about 15 minutes later I was called a 'whiney customer'. He told me he had only just started cooking the food and it would be delivered by 9pm. I asked to cancel the order because I was starving by this point and he flat out refused to cancel the order and hung up on me again. I went on the just eat app and cancelled the order. All I will say is, if you are hungry, don't order from this place.  Edit - I checked their reviews on Just Eat and they 100% pad their reviews, a man named 'Sergio' has dined with them 36 times in the last 6 months.

Ordered takeout from here first time New Year’s Day, food was delayed but can understand that’s probably due to festive season. The food was terrible, the starters we ordered spring rolls, chicken Samsoas and chicken chaat were okay but the mains were so disappointing! Ordered lamb jalfezi the lamb was tough as boots couldn’t eat it! The chicken Joipur main was chicken in tomatoe purée no flavour at all ! I’m afraid I won’t be ordering from here again.

Thought i would try somewhere new and was not disappointed at all the food arrived hot and delicious and was all around amazing definitely recommend!!

Had a wonder evening at home with the takeaway service, which was like a cherry on top! Couldn’t ask for more. The New Shuma Balti team made it wonderful. We will be returning as regulars now! Fantastic effort boys with top results!

I ordered here a few days, awful experience would not recommend to anyone. Order took 2 hours and 10 minutes to get here. Which even for a Saturday night is awful. We were notified multiple times that our driver had changed and the manager at the time rang us saying if we had received our order and was extremely  rude on the phone. Wasn’t helpful at all and just kept saying it would be there soon. Didn’t give any sort of good will gesture and was a poor experience from the managers.  The food finally came which was cold and the food was awful, no flavour and we also order a tikka masala which the tub was half full but we paid full price for it.  Poor service and food wasn’t good. I hope they improve and get new managers who understand customer service.

Delivery Ordered a takeaway for the family. Sat down to eat my curry and realised it wasn't what I ordered.I like a spicy dish. I rang the restaurant to ask if they had delivered the right dish.curry had no flavour or spice at all was informed they had delivered the wrong order and would deliver the correct dish shortly. I put the original order in the bin whilst awaiting the new delivery. I received a phone call shortly after to say they could not deliver a replacement because they were busy. They did offer a free curry next time I ordered.I have ordered multiple times from Shuma balti over the last 15 years. For me this wasn't exceptable as I was wanting to eat now. I asked for a refund if they could not deliver but was informed that I needed to return the previous delivered dish. I informed them that I had placed it in the bin. At this point they became really rude and informed me that they could not correct there mistake and that it was my fault. I was also told that it was a nice curry that was delivered and I should accept what was delivered. I don't normally leave bad reviews. Everyone makes mistakes. For me it was the attitude after, the customer experience for me was the worst I have ever had.

Usually order from these regularly, ordered tonight at 19:30, not here by 21:50, call them they ask if they can ring back, they don’t this happened twice, food turns up at 22:45, food cold, missing items from the order. Generally tastes trash.
