We came here for dimsum on recommendation from a friend. The food we tried was delicious. Fried rice and fried pork cutlet lunch rice is really nice. Other dimsum dishes are exquisitely presented and done really well. They are still in soft opening. Parking is plenty and location is convenient for us. Would definitely come back to try different dishes.
Always enjoy our meals here no matter it is lunch or dinner. Good service, great food. Manager, Ms Emily, is super sweet and friendly to guests. Love their koi fishes in the front.
Come here with a good appetite! Like the fact that the menu has a veriety of plates. The food is cooked well and has a good quality taste! Dim Sum is good and so please check out the pics and see for your self! Will be comming here to taste the Duck and much more! Bring your date here or family!
A frequent patron to this location before the pandemic but a first timer since it's been under the name of New Palace. The Koi fish is as fun to watch as usual. The interior design is nicer and more attractive. We had a few dishes like the House Chicken on the non-dim sum menu and, of course, dim sum which was the main purpose of today's visit. While the dishes were satisfactory, the dim sum we tried was average in taste and quality. The Xiao Long Bao or soup dumpling was very juicy, though. In my opinion, you might have got some better dim sum close to or in Chinatown.

first time dining at this new Chinese restaurant but have been to this location many years ago before when it was a Chinese buffet restaurant named China Bear I believe I missed that buffet! glad they kept the koi pond in the front of their entrance. food was OK but great service and really like their renovation and decor

So foodwise I think most items are more flavorful than Kim Son. If you like Kim Son then you should give this a try. However service was pretty bad. Make sure you have plenty of time when you go here and be ready to try and flag the waiter down to get service at all. We spent 2 hours when we are usually in and out in about 1h. It seems they are having staffing issues and need to work on their team work. In fact, after we paid and got up to leave, a food runner brought out an item we ordered, but never received.
New Chinese food around Stanford/Sugar Land area! This place was so good for both dim sum and Cantonese cuisine. Some of my favorite dim sum dishes were the pan fried flat noodles, egg tart, pineapple bun with salted yolk inside and of course the shrimp dumplings and shumai. For dinner, we loved the duck with plum sauce, Singapore noodles, black pepper beef which was super tender and super flavorful. I would highly recommend stopping by and checking this new spot!!
