This old pub has now been refurbished, lock, stock and beer barrel. It's good, not "gentrified" and serves Timmy Taylor Landlord I've had better though. Has a pool table and lots of themed evenings. It's also great for watching sport as they have so many screens.

Good craic, friendly locals, attentive bar staff. Popped in as staying nearby on visit from Coventry. Just in  time to see Man City win FA cup final. What an atmosphere. Couldn't have picked a better place to watch the match. No trouble, just lots of happy faces. Beer good so was my pink gin
