Story

Raab's Bakery is proud to be a long running and popular family business established in London in 1948. A true family profession, Grandad Raab made the move to London from Vienna, Austria at the outbreak of WW2. His sons Michael and Peter took on the business - and their sons Philip, Paul and David now complete the Raab line up - with occasional help from the next generation, the great grandchildren!

We bake fresh on the premises daily. Bread, speciality loaves, rolls, cakes, pastries, buns and celebration cakes to order.

Our sandwich bar stocks freshly made sandwiches, filled rolls and hot snacks to order daily. We also offer teas and freshly ground coffee.

The very special family recipe for our white bread rolls is soon to appear in the latest Leon cookbook. Out soon.

Best baker in London! Despite a smallish shop footprint the shelves are always stacked with an incredible variety of breads, savouries and cakes oh the cakes!. Traditional, local, and artisan in the proper sense.

A proper bakery! Wonderful . Staff very helpful and all the bakery products are delicious. As well as the terriffic choice of breads and cakes, how nice to find somewhere that still sells bridge rolls, too! Brilliant.

A Family establishment. I love their fresh bread rolls. They do all sorts of sweet bakery too. Their prices are a bargain.

Pleasantly surprised. One of the nicest traditional pasties I have had for a long time  when I needed a breakfast fix. Recommend.

We live about a km away and usually pop by. On 3 consecutive times late morning, they are sold out. What's the point - you're open til 5pm! Their response to a normal question "why not make more?" "Come earlier". Nope. We'll go elsewhere.

Lovely old school bakery, friendly staff. Bread, bagels, rolls, oh and cakes to absolutely die for!!! A must if you're in the area. A

Nice food but wouldnt order from here using just eat cos they cant even manage to get the order right and send part orders or wrong items this isnt just a one off this is all the time!!

Best bakers with the best staff.... anywhere! Been visiting for the last 20 years. Everything is great from there, you can't go wrong with any choice and excellent value for money too.
