Tried to book via the new system for an urgent appointment which said this system is temporary unavailable. Phone call to the receptionist, explaining the situation. Appointment made for today. Excellent service by all concerned making this elderly person a very happy chappy. apparently elderly is 66-71 & old age is 72-77
The worst GP I’ve ever used. Doctors refuse to speak to you, constant messages that your anima request is closed, you call the gp to book appointment because you don’t have internet and they will tell you they can’t do it it needs to be through the app. So you tell me all those 90 years old people also have to book it through this ? You tell them medication is not working and for a week you can’t get through to them. 5 days in a row I opened anima at 07:30, 07:45, 08:00 and 08:30. All those times had unavailable MEDICAL requests. Not to mention how rude they are from reception and the prescriptions department. Don’t know why they are even there for
Really frustrating…. All I’m trying to do is get out through for shoulder surgery as I have had a MRI scan from INhealth Milton Keynes and been told by a professional I need surgery so I have to go to this GP to be referred for it. I met Dr lupo and sue to me not being able to get the information up on my phone because there is no service in the practise, she rushed me and gave me no answers or help and told me to speak to the receptionist which I did and they gave me a email to message which I did it’s now 3 weeks later I called them this week Tuesday spoke to the manger who said they will call me back Friday which they never did. All I want is a referral to get surgery on my wrecked shoulder is it that hard? Honestly I’m really frustrated feel like I’m not a priority at all.
I have been struggling with back problems since childhood and have been treated for these issues in my country. Recently, my back issues had come back to the point where I can’t no longer manage my daily activities due to pain. I attempted to make an appointment to discuss this, but was informed that appointments are now made through the Anima system. When I asked whether I could book an appointment over the phone, the receptionist rudely asked me “ Do you not have any social media?”. The response to my question was very unprofessional, and I felt dismissed rather than assisted. I ultimately created an account as advised and was promised a telephone appointment for today in the morning. However, I have not received a call from the doctor. This lack of follow-through is concerning, especially when the purpose of introducing a new booking system is to improve patient access and care. Additionally, when I have made a complaint about this I was told that they have called me at 11 in the morning which was on my old phone number although I have changed it and it shows on my NHS app and Anima system. I was also told that another appointment has been made, when I asked for the confirmation of this appointment they have sent it on my new phone number. I believe that it does not make sense at all when they just said that they called me on my old phone number the other day.
On 10/12/24 I completed a prescription request. This was urgent due to the nature of my job and the people I care for. I personally handed it to a receptionist asking if it could be approved as a matter of urgency rather than the normal 3 days. It’s the first time I have ever asked for something urgent.nnThe look I got that I had dared to ask for something extra. Just some thought and kindness. I heard the excuse that they have 100’s of requests. They couldn’t promise anything etc etc, She said she would mark it as urgent . I left knowing damn well it wasn’t going to be granted.nnAnd here we are FOUR days later longer than a normal request and it’s still not been approved.nnI would not be at all surprised if it went in the bin because I had the audacity to ask for something urgent.nnSo now I have had to make another journey up there to request it again. My urgent request is going to take over a weeknnow.
