Been with Abbey medical practice for over a year now and it’s one of the best surgeries I’ve ever been with! I can’t fault it what so ever! But the main reason for my 5 review is to really give the nurse practitioner Sarah Bailey some credit and appreciation after receiving some treatment from her. She is an absolute asset to the surgery. She is so lovely, friendly and very professional and I am really happy she’s been able to listen to and help me. Thank you so much Sarah!
I would rate my experience as 5 for being very poor. I was unaware that we needed to inform the reception area upon arrival. Last month, my husband had an appointment at the hospital and asked at the ground-floor reception, who ground floor receptionist informed that the ground floor was separate, and the first floor was for Abbey services. Based on this experience, we went directly to the first-floor reception area for my appointment at 11:05. However, there was no one at the reception desk at first floor.nnWe waited, assuming someone would call us for the appointment, but when no one did, we went to the ground-floor reception to inquire. The staff there rudely told us that we should have let them know we were there for the appointment. Their attitude was impolite and unprofessional, which left us very disappointed.nnI kindly request that the process be better organized so patients are clearly informed about the check-in procedure and are treated with the respect and politeness they deserve.nnThanksnAfiya
I had very bad experience. My son got very bad skin condition they took a sample and told me to give report within 7 days but it's been nearly 3 weeks and I have been to the gp for like 3 times they still can't see report on the system. The doctor have got no responsibility towards the patient. The receptionist are good but the doctor is not responsible. Also, they have made anima to book appointment it is very hard to do they ask so many questions it takes lot of time.
2 stars as I had bad experience with doctor but good one with the complaints department.nnI had issues with my GP and a lady in complaints department went out of her way to rectify and investigate. She made sure I had ADHD paperwork waiting for me in reception that my GP should have made me fill out and made sure that I would be referred to the right place GP referred me to a place that doesn't do ADHD assessments. I really want to praise her for making a real difference to my life and to my well-being. People like her really seem to do their job because they care and are just a blessing for this world: so thank you, kind lady :
I don’t understand all the negative feedback and low score for this GP Practice. Ever since I have joined I have nothing but positive words to say about this surgery… from the kind and polite receptionists who ensure you an appointment and stick to their word… to the GP’s, who actually “listen” to your problems with empathy and respect. Discuss with you any progress that can be made including “options” you can make an informed decision on. So patient and attentive with regards to my mental and physical health. All in all, this team are so committed to their roles and it shows..nThank you so much for all of your help, ALL OF YOU!
