I took my daughter after being advised by the pharmacist to go to the walk in centre. The lady I spoke to let us know that it would actually be an urgent care referral. She also advised we would have to do that via 111. I had come from Preston and picked my daughter up from Lancaster University. In light of this the lady said she would try and get us an appointment there and then but we would have to wait 20 minutes. My daughter was seen and given the treatment she needed. We are very grateful to this lady. Our visit was on 5th March 2023.
A Star dentist .Very professional and caring and helped me with my root canal and filling . Customer care throughout my time in the Queen VIc . Thank you again for such a great experience .
Just moved to Morecambe and all of a sudden needed a dentist so phoned Queen Victoria and they got me in same day. I am so nervous and anxious at the dentist and avoid it as much as I can but this was brilliant I even had a laugh. Problem sorted. Thank you so much. The lovely person I booked with on the telephone said my dentist was called Mark and he was brilliant all credit to him.
I turned up for an appointment yesterday and the buliding was all locked up with nobody answering the buzzer. Not happy at all as ive been waiting since mid September to be seen.
I was on holiday in Lancaster when I developed a horrible painful abcsess on my tooth. Had to make an emergency visit through 111. I received amazing treatment. I sadly lost my tooth but the extraction was painless and the dentist put me completely at rest. I was then able to enjoy the rest of my holiday and that night enjoy a birthday meal with my daughter. One of the best dentists I've been to.
emergency dentist wouldnt even give me an appointment after being in the phone to 111 and them referring me to them because apparently my pain score wasn't high enough over the phone , I have ms so my pain tolerance is probably quite high as I told them. Told to buy something to fix my tooth myself which I cant as I cant see the hole until I can get an appointment at my dentist that have no appointments and in the mean time keep popping pain killers even though I haven't eaten in 2 days as I cant because of the pain .
Went into the emergency dental centre with severe dental pain and just wanted the thing out! I'm have a severe phobia of dentists and was a crying mess walking into the place. The receptionist was so nice and while I was shaking, filling out the forms, a dental nurse came to me and handing me some tissue. I went in and was asked was I in pain or scared. I was both. The dentist gave me three lots of anesthetic and was so professional and calm with me, I don't know how he did it. The nurse kept telling me it's ok and I don't not need to be sorry. He recommended a filling but I just couldn't face it being a fearful person. He numbed it more and was so gentle and quick it was out in under a minute. Thank you so much mr T and the lovely lady in glasses.
On Saturday I Mary Webster had to visit QVH for an emergency apt due to having lots of pain and bleeding due to UTI. Was seen by lovely lady called Naomi who was absolutely excellent. She prescribed some new antibiotics for me and referred me to Urology because she thought I could have kidney stones .They rang me back in the afternoon. Today I have been there, had a CT scan which was clear. Bloods done and saw Mr Dickinson who again was lovely and said he thought it was just a very severe urine infection. I was given a boost of strong antibiotics while there and prescribed other medication and follow up treatment. All my problems have been going on for almost a month and never been sorted so I am very relieved to think that I could be on the right track now. Thank you so much to Naomi for sorting this for me and to the staff on Ward 30 for taking care of me today.
I am immune suppressed so if I get an infection I requirement treatment quickly. While on Holiday in Heysham Morcambe I got a mouth abscess. After phoning 112 I had a appointment at the Queen Victoria within 50 minutes and antibiotics within an hour. Fantastic service.
So scared of Dentists that I havent seen one in 15 years. The two ladies I saw were lovely and totally made me feel at ease. They made something I find terrifying and traumatic very much bearable and almost enjoyable. So thankyou
