The best hospital experience I have ever had. All staff were very professional and attentive from the admissions team and the pre-op team prior to the operation through to the treatment itself. The room was excellent, clean etc and greatly aided recovery before being discharged. The Surgeon Mr Mayra, nursing team, porters, catering staff, physio, anaesthetic team, all did a fantastic job to make me feel comfortable and at ease and answer any questions. Knee is recovering and although only a week since the op feels better than before and I am confident will improve over the coming weeks. Many thanks to everyone!
My husband Paul was a patient at The Lancaster Hospital a couple of weeks ago. He had a full knee replacement and has received amazing treatment and care. From the initial contact with the hospital, from Mr Magra who I cannot thank enough, to all the hospital staff go above and beyond to make sure you are at ease and understand what is happening every step of the way. You are made to feel informed and comfortable with all that was going to happen before, during and after your procedure. Nothing is too much for any member of staff at the hospital everyone is so kind and caring he couldn’t have had better treatment. Thank you once again.
I have just got home after my operation. All the staff from porters to surgeons and catering staff we so lovely and helpful. The ward staff are extremely attentive and make you feel that nothing is too much effort wether during the day or in the early hours of the morning.
From the time of the initial admission, I felt in very good hands. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and all the staff, both medical and non-medical were just amazing. I was discharged the following day after my hip operation- but only after physio and medical were happy, and when everything had been fully explained to me about life at home post-op, and what do in the event of complications. I am now in my 4th day at home, recovering very well, and can only thank all of the staff for the wonderful care I received last week. A BIG thank you!
