A £9 pop-up kitchen bbq beef burger should have a lot more meat than I got. I wanted to love it, but it needs a lot of work.. flavour, smokiness was lacking too, to further widen the gulf between value for money. The bar itself is fine and has plenty of space, and the relatively small selection of beers is good.
Friendly staff and great beers, but we need to talk about the dogs. The bun to dog/topping ratio is all wrong. The bun needs to be larger and the whole dog + the majority of the toppings need to fit within the bun otherwise you have a situation like we have here where it's impossible to eat without making a huge mess. Bigger buns or less toppings please I prefer the former!
I like Brewdog beers but in this particular BD you have to eat - it's part of the licence conditions. I didn't stay as I'd already had lunch. The only items on the menu are hotdogs with various toppings & not cheap either. Not my cup of tea & judging by how quiet it is in there not a popular choice
Oooh man! Let me start from the beginning. The girl at the till was lovely and addressed me towards the hotdog that would be best for me. I chose this beef house dog with sauerkraut, caramelised onions and pickles. She advised to add a bit of smoked garlic mayo, which made the thing smell and taste DIVINE. It was actually hard to finish and I didn't even get any side - defo gonna get sweet potato fries next time, my friend got them and they tasted just perfect. The vibe is great and everyone looks so happy. You've got to try DED out, I'm gonna be back very soon!
Good beer & chips but I was expecting more from the hot dog :/ To clarify it a bit, it was decent size, toppings were OK but when I compare it to a hot dogs in NYC from food trucks for like $2 ... I liked those bit more ...
Awesome Brewdog! You may have to eat here...but why would you not want to? The dogs are really good, onion rings are beyond brilliant!
Food took 1 hour 20 minutes to arrive and it wasn't even busy... no one came out to tell us it would be late. After asking where food was, it came out. The pork was bone dry - not a great meal
9+ quid for a hot dog with no sides! Not for me
Beer is overpriced and food is shite
Love the beers, love the dogs.
