This is an excellent hidden gem, looks nothing from the outside but is such a surprise when you walk inside. We walked around the ground floor, downstairs then upstairs before choosing our seats, food and drinks. After eating upstairs we relocated on the ground floor to try more of the great food on offer. Shared tables are fine, people were friendly and most importantly the food and atmosphere was great!
This place was an amazing find. The food there is superb, at least pasta and steak 1st floor that I tried were magnificent. German craft beer was really good too. And the place itself, to refurbish a church into a food market - what a brilliant idea. Love it and will be coming again. The only downside could be a lack of seating place. But it is worth the wait by any means.
Beautiful venue, great gin cocktails and beer.. amazing fresh pasta and pizza! The Bun was also very good! It's not crowded at noon like other markets and you can sit inside, at the rooftop or the wine bar in the basement. Very unique and would definitely come back! The only thing that might be a bit problematic, like everywhere in London, no a/c so it could get hot if the temperatures are high...
Really cool idea, fun place sort of like a food court with mainly Italian and Asian food stalls, in a beautiful old church in Mayfair. Food quality is great, the pasta I had was delicious but unfortunately it was a little cold. Prices are pretty high even by London standard. The atmosphere is good but unfortunately when I went it was incredibly busy. It was practically impossible to get a table, and I only got one by sheer luck. I don’t want to sound like an old man, but the music inside was incredibly loud. Like nightclub level loud, and impossible to hold a conversation across a table without practically screaming. I get the impression by the food and busyness that this place would be absolutely perfect for lunch, but unless you arrive very early, dinner could be a struggle. I hope to stop by for lunch and have an even better experience.
A church that turned into a food court, a very cool idea. The variety is very good, also the veggie options. I had Malaysian food which was special. I would definitely go back to try more things. Loved it!
The pasta from Pasta Lovers was fantastic, perfectly delicious Gnocchi and Carbonara with extra bacon. The drinks are good, fairly standard with the added perk of a real stein of beer. Cocktails vary in accuracy to what you may order, will it be weak, will it be strong, will it even be correct? It's pot luck! Finding a seat is very much a scramble, but once you're sat down it's easy to relax - but be prepared of you've got an empty seat next to you while one of your friends is getting their drinks or food, you'll be asked if it's free by every passer by.
Nice place for wine and dine! Great church with lots of food stalls and bar which makes it so unique as a gathering place for people enjoying Friday night. Pizza and Pad Thai are nice and delicious. There is an abasement with lots of wine and simply decorated as a wine cellar.
This was the find of our London trip. What an amazing food court inside a majestic church! Brilliant concept. The food and drinks options are amazing too. From pizzas, pastas, coffee, Asian to gelatos and gin and tonic… Amazing comfort food options. All prepared fresh! A definite visit for everyone. It was buzzing every time we visited. The Sunday music performance was also very good. We hope they start accepting cash as well as we saw many tourists having trouble with contactless payments.
Hidden gem! Unexpected wow factor! Old Church with intricate designs converted into a modern day food court with three layers to discover! Enter the main Church with a variety of food vendors from all over the world, head up stairs for a drink at the new-york apartment style rooftop, or go underground for intimate tavern experience. Definitely recommend the steak and padron peppers!
Brilliant place!!... Set in an old church, which surprisingly makes for an excellent, if slightly cramped, food hall. Good range of food stalls around the edges across two floors, and masses of seating through the centre of the hall. Our group went half pizza, and half bao buns and the food was excellent. Had to wait a while for the pizzas but fairly understandable given the sheer volume of people they were serving! Definitely worth complimenting your meal with a pint from the bar too, where you have the option of it served in a traditional stein if you'd like! Wheelchair accessibility: There is a lift for the 1st floor, and the ground floor has very few inaccessible areas
