Relatively quick to get an appointment during which I often feel rushed but that’s not unique to this practice. Biggest downside is that they don’t have parking on site. There’s one car park at the surgery for their staff. I couldn’t find a parking space in none of the nearby car parks and so I missed my appointment resulting in having to rebook and a warning letter from the surgery. Nothing done apart from pointing out the existing car parks in Pudsey city centre after clarifying the situation.
I've been a patient at this surgery for almost 30 years. I've always had the care I've needed and the staff are always helpful and polite. Yes you sometimes need to wait for an appointment but I've never had trouble getting a face to face appointment when needed. I'm about to leave the area and will be leaving this surgery soon, I just hope the new doctors is as good as this one
I have had a fabulous experience on 2 occasions with nurse practitioner Mr Maqsood Mansoor, he is thorough, caring and very professional within his role at Mulberry Street GP practice. Thanks for been so there and thorough.
Substandard service from a NHS provider, can't even get a percription right 3 times trying, an don't get me started on trying to get an appointment up to an hour wait time on phone to be told all avaliable Appointments have gone...
Complete and utter joke trying to get an appointment at this place. Even when sent a text from Dr to ring for test results. You get told ring at 8 o'clock. When you are on the phone 45 mins and still no joy. Then when you ring later only to be told all appointments have gone. Ring back same time to.morrow..Could be dead by then. So will never get results. . Absolutely rediculous.
Always helpful and polite with first class service from Reception staff, nurses to Doctors. They continued the same service through lockdown, putting themselves at risk but carried on regardless. We have been registered with this practice for 72 years my husband and 47 years myself. We wouldn't go any where else.
Please leave feedback on the NHS Website as Mulberry Street Medical Practice do not have control over this site on google. Thank you.
Reception staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. There has now been multiple occasions where a member of staff has been rude and abrupt, when I have been in need of appointments. To say that they work around vulnerable patients in need of help, they lack any ounce of sympathy or care.
The staff and service has always been great to me, but the practice is let down in two ways: 1 The next available Dr appointment is usually three weeks away, either by phoning or using the self service portal. This is pretty useless to anyone and in the few times I've needed someone I've wound up resorting to 111/winding up in hospital. In some instances I've been booked in with a nurse only to then be told when I meet them that I'd need a doctor to see me - so even more time wasted waiting just because they wanted to properly triage me. This isn't really a fault of the practice itself, every GP practice I've encountered suffers from being hyper busy. You can get one the day emergency appointments, but... 2 There's no hold queue on the phones. It's currently 10:30am, out of what I consider to be the busy period, and every time I ring I just get the busy tone and cut off, as has been the case for 20mins now. I don't mind so much at the moment because I only have a question I want to ask, but when trying to get an emergency appointment it's infuriating - one horrid example had me trying for 30mins solid, with 100 failed calls logged to my phone. Why not just have a first come first serve hold system, rather than the absolute mess rush we have to put up with? The last thing I want to be doing when ill and in that instance, partially deaf is fighting with a call system. If you actually manage to get through, the actual staff and site processes are spot on. Just good luck getting that far.
If you want to get an appointment do not use this surgery. The after care I received after having my child has been shocking! I had to wait over 4 weeks to get a sample result back and I am 4 weeks after that still trying to get a follow on appointment. You ring constantly from 8am every morning to be told there are no appointments left call back tomorrow at 8am and just do this EVERY SINGLE DAY
