Very snotty woman answers the phone. Chastising me about what time I'm phoning. Very poor attitude and not suitable to be working front line with the public. Very bad impression left. This is my father's gp surgery, things have certainly gone down hill over the years.
Work full time so it’s hard to call/get an appointment. It’s well known in Leeds as one of the worst GP practices. I have not really had much interaction with the staff so unable to say if they are helpful or not. Primarily because you can’t get through to talk to them it’s now 14:45 - sat in a queue, 2nd, for about 20 mins. Looks like the reception crew are having an extended lunch! Nah honestly go sign up to another one. It’s just so difficult to get anything from them from an appointment to just a person on the phone. There is other surgeries in the local area that probably can provide a better service. Cheers to the conservatives for destroying the NHS for 15 years.
Had to go to the children’s clinic today which is inside the health centre.nThe health centre itself has many nhs functions but my review is based on access , and facilities for wheelchair users .nI noticed on Sat Nav that the destination is at the front of the building . This is fine if you arrive on public transport or taxi . You then have to walk past the bollards and up the grand footpath to a not very imposing door in a rather large blue /violet imposing wall.nFor those with vehicles depending upon which direction you come in :- from Horsforth side turn right onto station road before the building and then left onto Modder Avenue ,the health centre car park is on your left.nFrom Leeds turn left onto Carr Crofts then right onto Modder Avenue .The car park is on your right as you drive down .nI noticed the car park was full and there are only Four disabled bays . However people are coming and going most of the time . Exit the car and go to the building and follow it to the right around the front of the building. The main door is automatic as is the next one inside . It’s all flat and level . Reception is in front left and also has a lowered desktop .nI noticed there were lifts to other floor s and department s and where we went access was made for me all doors are wide and there were disabled toilets. All departments are signposted.
Very bad surgery service, the staff at the reception not helpful and very rude without compassionate to patients. There are always no appointments available ether online or on telephone at the exact time mentioned you can book the appointment. Wake up at 6am to get an appointment online, but there is none available. When calling at 8am, they will tell you same thing. You will ask yourself that who has gotten all appointments this morning since 6am? So they don't like patients their. And probably CQC and hns need to close some surgeries that are not helpful in the community.
The reception staff on the first floor are the rudest members of staff! both on the phone and face to face. They look at you like they want to fight you not help you. Rolling there eyes if they have to do anything to assist you.nNot just to myself, I witnessed one if them being so unhelpful and rude to and elderly patient who was struggling to check herself in on the computer. The way that the receptionist spoke to her was disgusting!nI can not believe that a NHS GP surgery employ such rude and arrogant staff.nThey need to be replaced as staff like that give the NHS a bad name.
