Pretty average service and expensive. I saw a phsysio for my first post operation appointment for my shoulder. He set me going. He suggested I didn't come back for a second appointment at the time but that emailed him to tell him how I was getting on as it would save fees. I assume he would have resumed appointment after this. I think he was fine but I decided I didn't need to save costs and wanted to see the specialist shoulder physio rather than sending an email. I did that and got chared £130 for an hour's session. Apparently this session went down as 2 follow up sessions (1/2 hr is one follow up). Very expensive. After complaining they did reduce the cost to their credit so it was along the lines of a first appointment fee. The treatment was more detailed and the expertise of the specialist was apparent and she wanted to see me in two weeks' time. The physio was then ill so I missed my next appointment and then she was immediately on leave for two weeks. I tried to book another appointment, and one was suggested by the receptionist for a month's time as the phsyio was booked up. NOT ideal soon after a shoulder operation. I have therefore found a smaller practice with a shoulder specialist at Magog Court, Shelford Bottom so I could get into a physio routine sooner. The cost is also two thirds. The service is more personal and I feel if any issues arose they would work around it in a more personal way. I raised my greivance with Progress Health but received a general response with justifications and didn't really acknowlegde how I felt about the service. They may well reply to this review with more 'explanations', that all their other physios could have seen me instead, etc, etc. I would suggest in the first instance you try a smaller practice.
