My Husband has just brought a second hand car from here and I can not thank our Sales Executive Damon Bell enough. He went above and beyond to help me 'sprouse' up the worn steering wheel that I knew would annoy my husband. We had many a conversation most conversations done on his day off to! on getting this sorted and in the end he kindly asked the Valeting team to look at it which I did not know he'd done until we collected the car!... top job and this is great customer service.
Wow, the reviews here seem to be either 5* or 1*. Would be interested to know how this happens? My daughter recently bought a used car and part-exchanged her old car at Marshall Skoda. From the initial call with Garry where he ran through the details of the car and answered our questions. Through the individual video sent later that day, and then the two sets of test drives, Garry was friendly, knowledgeable and professional without being pushy. Everything went smoothly, making the whole process a joyful experience.
I can't begin to explain how bad my experience was here. More importantly, just for everyone's awareness. They are trying to charge over £1000 for a cambelt and water pump change. It's important to mention, this should not cost more then £550 max! It's a £170 part and takes 2-3 hours to fit. Do not take your car here!!
Awful customer service. They are nice enough on the phone but unless you're looking to buy a car they never ring back. Trying to buy floor mats for my new car a year ago was painful and should have been a warning sign. When the car went in for warranty work they first tried to charge me for a courtesy car, then gave in and supplied a Skoda Superb that someone had just eaten in, crumbs and dirt all over, it was disgusting. I was already late for work though so just had to get on with it. The issue is still not fixed but nobody will call me back to book it in.... Everything takes ages, even in branch. There's always loads of people, some are on the phone but others aren't. They see you waiting but never offer to help. Its unclear who to ask. Everything is someone else's fault, someone else is busy, someone else will call back. No ownership taken. When I did a "valuation" on the website I got a call from a sales guy Dan Borrett the next day. He then called me again the same day but had no idea he'd already spoken to me. Short memory. I told him which cars I was looking at. Nothing for ages, then i get an email yesterday with two cars which are dsg when I specifically said I wanted a manual. This is basic stuff which is being done badly. Note that I also filled in a form asking for a service booking but nobody has bothered to follow that up. Of course, the sales guy said everyone in the service department was too busy to help. Let's see if he replies to my email today. If I didn't have a skoda service plan I would not be bothering but I might aswell use the free oil change, sorry, "service". How do I give 0 stars? Edit: I have emailed the address they gave me, and also Neil Day who I believe is the manager of the branch. No reply. What a surprise.
Upon collection, the car a used Citigo was presented to a very high standard. The process that we went through with Baldip was incredibly professional. He conducted himself in a very high standard, supporting us through any queries we had whilst being very approachable. It felt as if nothing was too much trouble and for this we cannot fault him. A big thank you to Baldip.
Recently brought a car from ŠKODA Northampton, fantastic service from start to finish with Bal! Communication was great, true to his word every step of the way! Not pushy, listened to my requirements & was always willing to help. A genuinely lovely bloke, knew the cars, went above and beyond to get the car I required! I even picked the car up with a bow on it! WHAT A SERVICE! Thanks Bal, a great bloke! We would highly recommend the dealership & Bal.
Just bought a car from Marshall Skoda Northampton. Baldip looked after us from start to finish and was very proactive by travelling to another dealership to get a car for us to test drive, which another dealership didn’t even think about. Baldip kept up us updated on the progress of the car from order to delivery. Baldip has always been bright, friendly, caring, enthusiastic and a gentleman. Thank you.
Relatively painless to P/E a vehicle, but due to a minor issue with the new vehicle, I’ve been offered a contribution toward resolving it as opposed to a 400 mile round trip to sort it out. It has been nearly 8 weeks since initially agreeing to resolve the issue, nearly a month since I provided the bank details I would like it sending to, and I’m still no closer to finding out if this contribution will actually be provided to me. Presales and sales itself seem ok - middle of the road and not bad by any means, but after sales is absolutely dire so far.
Last week I bought a car, from Marshall SKODA Northampton. The whole process was very smooth and carried out by Bal Kang who was one of the best Car sales persons I have ever met. Very polite and friendly. Very happy with the overall experience!!
Ordered car parts on 4th of June and returned about two weeks later. I still waiting for refund since. It is almost 3 months now, I keep calling them every week but still nothing. They always promising to sort this out immediately but a week later nada! I might need to solve it with involving a lawyer. Terrible customer care.
