I came at around 11 am so I can’t speak for queues and waiting time. I got my crispy chicken burger fast enough. The burger was good, I can’t fault it. I will probably come back and try other burgers.
Veg burger- average- patty was similar to the usual meet free offerings. Fillings were fresh and relatively evenly spread. Chips were undercooked.
The worst place ever!!! Unprofessional and unpleasant staff!!! I came with my family after a tour of the station, I thought it was the right place. We ordered and paid but I asked for the preparation time they told me 10min. We ordered to dine in. After 20 minutes and seeing how everyone else was passing by before me and how the other orders were dispatched before mine, they call me to tell me that the meat takes 15 minutes MORE, meaning almost half an hour because they were out of beef and i needed to wait for it to be ready or that they can make chicken. My train was leaving so I tried to solve the problem and agreed to make them all chicken initially only 1 was chicken. They then told me that they only had 2 chickens left so i needed to wait anyways. they claim to have made a refund I still don't see it on my credit card. I ended up eating marks and spencer wraps. Unpleasant and unfriendly staff, they don't care if you are in a hurry. I would not recommend
Solid burgers. The katsu crispy chicken was tasty but get it with extra sauce and no pickled chillies. The chillies ruin the flavour of a very delicious burger. Service is quick, the chips are very good. I'll definitely go again. They've renovated the place since I last went and it's a great improvement.
Had a chicken burger, have to say it was Luke warm, and dry. I unfortunately had to eat it because there was no other option available tonight. But for £10 this was a complete and utter rip off. Avoid like the plague!Food: 1/5
I visited here at 10:25 on 18th February. Food was ok and chefs were good, but person at front of house was lazy. She was too busy messing about on her mobile phone texting her mates and that took priority over actually serving people. Felt like she was actually doing us a favour to serve us.
Loved it! The vegan burger was awesome, the staff were super friendly! Dittos to the chef for the excellent job! Cheesy fries with garlic mayo dip were a delight! Awesome, awesome, awesome!
Location: Inside Kings Cross Station Price: ok Taste: Fries was ok, thick and not too salty. Burger was so so. Service: You queue, you order, you get a buzzer, you sit, you wait, you collect when the buzzer buzz, you eat and go. Atmosphere: Sit outside and watch travellers walk by hurriedly or sit inside which is more cozy. Pros: Halal. They have a 8 minute guarantee from placing your order to eating your burger or your money back. The buzzer goes off at 6 minutes plus. Cons: Staff can be a bit more friendlier. Didn't know you have to take your own can drink from the fridge. Staff could have mention it. I ordered a Prime Truffle Burger and I felt the fresh onion more than truffle if any.
If you want good, down to earth, oily, filling burgers, this is for you. The price might be expensive, but the burgers are pretty damn good. Food: I ordered double beef patty burger that came with a side of fries and a canned drink to take away. The fries were great, not soggy, slightly crisped. The burgers were amazing, juicy, greasy, just the way burgers were meant to be. I am aware that the quality fluctuates as evidenced on other reviews but I got a pretty good meal Price: ~GBP13/pax Service: Reasonably quick service and the counter staff were friendly and accommodating when we initially wanted a dine in but changed it to a takeaway as we almost missed our train. Would I recommend? Yes. Good, greasy, filling burgers that might pinch your pockets, but still, very worth it.
I went here on my way back from business trip as it had so many people going in and out so I thought that the food here must be quite good. And I was not disappointed. Although the price is quite high usually £10+ per meal but it is well worth it. The burger and chips were really filling as I didn't eat anything from around midday until night as I felt full. The taste is amazing as well. I wish they had a branch near me. If you think about trying it, don't think and just get some food from them. 8 min food preparation guarantee is also useful for travelers or anyone in a hurry.
