A great place to take children, there's a playground with all the usual slides and swings , a large climbing frame, and sandpit for the smaller kids. There's a skateboard track and scooter park so the kids can demonstrate their skills. They have boats on the river, an old world museum with outside street with shops etc. And a large butterfly world!!

On a nice day this is as nice as any park you could visit. Lovely for a walk, great for kids with a mix of attractions such as butterfly world and a play area. Certainly would recommend for a family day out or just a nice walk. Does get busy in the summer of course as such places are rare in these parts.

Preston park is great for a lovely day out as there is so many things to do especially in summer time. Exploring the museum which is really good value. £5 for a family ticket which lasts all year. The butterfly world is a must when you visit which is full of beautiful butterflies. Also there is a river trip on the boat which takes you to yarm.

Lovely place to visit and great value for money. Food facilities could be better think it could really add to this place. Great play area for kids and a nice traditional street with different activities going on throughout.

Really interesting! Lots to see and do. Very reasonable entrance cost and valid for a whole year. Staff really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
