We visited in the first week of June, weather aside the cabin 3 bed gold was large enough for 2 adults and 2 children 6yr and 1yr, however it wasn't the cleanest, cobwebs, dust, it was clear it hadn't had a good thorough clean in a while. We were based at Rhuddlan Court, right at the entrance of the park. Unfortunately, the location was awful, especially with two young children, we didn't choose the location but were allocated one, maybe if we paid to choose it would be different but it meant we had to take the car to the main area as it was too far to walk with the little ones. The laundrette on-site is closed either Tuesday or Wednesday which we found odd and inconvenient as with kids, you just never know. Last year we went to Haven in Grange Over Sands and enjoyed that much more, no doubt Presthaven can be decent but our experience wasn't the best, having said that, the kids had fun which is the main thing!
Lovely place for families, static caravan perfect for what we needed and the kids entertained. Only complaint the grounds could do with a tidy and litter picking needed but on a whole a great week spent here despite the weather!Rooms: 5/5
We absolutely love it here! The site is very well maintained, clean and tidy. Reception staff are friendly and helpful, as are all the staff! You can be as busy or lazy as you like, there's lots of activities to do. The beach is a few mins walk through the sand dunes. Lots of places to visit in the surrounding areas.Rooms: 5/5
Enjoyable Easter week away with the family. Caravan was clean. Facilities were great. Swimming not too busy / overbooked which is always a bonus. A lot of the kids activities we were booked onto were held by Maddie. She was great, very good with the kids. Thank you all.Rooms: 5/5
The entertainment was good for the kids. The machines were always paying out tickets, and the staff was nice and friendly. However, the mash and barrel still have a lot to get an excellent in their sevice at times and how they were their knife forks spoons fare from sat facilities rinsing them in a jug with dirty water. Rooms: Was nice and cosy Nearby activities: Activity was on point Walkability: You could walk or use your car or use ther bikes Food & drinks: Food is excellent, pipping hot, and the tastes were what was expectedmash and barrel
Was on the touring pitch .flat and well kept .toilet block is modern and very clean. Downside is a good 20minutes walk to main complex for drink and food.even though there is a pub on site but for some reason haven have shut it ..its now a storage place gr8 shame remember it being a very lively pub .so it was easier to go to the neighbouring site greenacres for drink and food .chippy and cafe .havens loss .
Fantastic for a break away. Beach is perfect, caravans are clean and comfortable. Lots to do on the park and lots more around it. The entertainment for kids is brilliant. The only let down was the mash and barrell pub. Very poor meal and service. Dirty tables and floors. Needs a complete overhaul in there.
First time at a Haven park but it was a lovely experience. Everything is on site so you don't need to venture out of the park if you don't want to. There is entertainment for the kids all day which is great. The food places are great too and the Chinese was absolutely lovely!! Me & my daughter will be back next year.Rooms: 5/5
Definitely would go back it was well worth the money plenty of children's and adult entertainment caravans are very modern,extremely clean,there was only two of us but our caravan slept 8,everything was just perfect thinking about going back before the end of the season,local shop was good value and the fish and chips were out of this world also definitely try the beachcomber inn and their katsu curry was excellent and very good value for money
Shout out to Cath with facilities, she was wonderful dropping our shopping off to the caravan as my mum is disabled. Also Demi Lee is brilliant at her job and made bingo very enjoyable for us. Can't wait to come backRooms: 5/5
