The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Rude aggressive staff. I opted to pay for my alterations when I dropped the garment off. This was because I was moving and might have needed someone else to collect for me. On collection I explained that I had paid and was told that it was against their policy to pay on dropping off. When I produced my receipt I was told that this was not a receipt at all .The inference that I was lying. I gave them £20 and removed myself from the nasty accusatory situation. I have never encountered such rudeness in Baldock after living here for 34 yr. Training definitely required in accounting and customer service. Would never go there again. Embarrassing and awkward encounter.
Rude staff with attitude and poor customer service. On a Monday My husband brought my suit jacket to have the sleeves hemmed. He asked if it can be done by Thursday. He specified that I needed the jacket by Thursday as I have a job interview Friday morning. The woman who served him asked the manager. They promised him it will be hemmed on time. On Thursday morning I phoned to check if it was ready. The staff member was rude and said she didn't know when it would be back. I explained my situation and she did NOT apologise, she even accused me of getting the wrong information. She said they never guarantee it will be back on time because they send all alterations somewhere else. I spoke with my husband and he said he was never told that. In fact when he spoke with the manager he specified he would not leave it to be hemmed if there was a risk it would not be ready on time. I phoned back to explain. She said I should phone back in the afternoon, but she doubts it will be back. When I phoned back in the afternoon as she suggested, the same staff member had attitude and didn't show any understanding. In the end the jacket was ready after my interview. When my husband went to pick it up they charged the full amount with no apology. I live in Baldock and will never go back there again.
Always very friendly and my suits look like new every time. Excellent communication and prompt response via FB.
Poor standard of service three ball gowns/evening dresses shoved into one bag. The bag was not even long enough to cover them so were at risk of being marked, they used a suit plastic cover. For the cost of the clean you would expect a cover per dress and as stated if I had bought one in at a time they would each be in a bag. They also did not smell 'fresh' as they should have done. Very poor standard of cleaning, will not be using again and would advise others to avoid. I just hope the other shops provide a better service.
Waited for a call to come pickup my duvets that never came. When I called them they told me that it's ready for collection, but when open it at home I saw that it's all still cover with dog's hair.
