So today I waited 1.5hrs in line for my prescription which was ordered online before Christmas with a bunch of other folk. The pharmacy opened late 1030 according to the handwritten note on the door .The prescription I'd ordered wasnt made up which alas happens quite a lot. Given that this pharmacy serves a busy GP surgery this whole arrangement needs a shake up pronto - maybe let another outfit have a go who know what good service looks like.
I've had to go in twice for a prescription in the last couple of weeks. Both times there is always a reason why they haven't got it. Unhelpful. Avoid. Go to Tesco or get it delivered direct from the Lloyds app. Don't waste your time.
I want to give them a good review as the staff are nice but unfortunately I can’t. They never open as advertised, it’s impossible to get there in time with most people’s normal working hours. They actually don’t open until 9:30 sometimes even 10:30 and then close for an hour for lunch during the day. I phoned up and asked if they would be open as advertised 8:30 and was told no as they are short staffed but if I turned up they would let me in anyway…I stood there for 40 mins yet no one let me in or even told me they were too busy. I eventually had to leave and ask my boss to drive me back at lunch time as otherwise I would be without my medication! Please sort out your opening hours - we need our medication and not everyone can just drop everything mid day to get there!
Used to be a very good pharmacy. Not sure what has happened, but now you never know if it'll be open when it's meant to be, the phone isn't answered, long wait times to collect pre-ordered prescriptions only to be told they aren't ready and to come back another time, and one particularly rude member of staff who seems to see you as an inconvenience. Not great...
Always late opening, staff do not seem to know what they're doing. They have a new manager who doesn't have a clue what she's doing.. I'm surprised anyone uses this pharmacy anymore.. 1 hour wait, and that's if they have what you need.. Never known a pharmacy like it. Years ago, it was the best in Baldock, but sadly I see it closing this year.
Truly appalling. Why have a system that sends the prescription directly to the pharmacy... for them not to dispense it until you have waited 20 minutes in the queue. Then you are told it will be half an hour. So you return after an hour and are told it will be 15 minutes. Baffling.
Clearly don't want to serve you! Appalling customer service! I was the only customer in the shop and they were too busy about to start wiping down surfaces to serve me- they wanted me to wait, which I did, then gave up and they lost their sale.
When we compline about the 1 hour wait that was due to the stuff lack of professionalism, one of the stuff told my wife that she needs to be grateful that she's not dear and she can take her pills. They never call back as they say they will. They never had the prescription ready on time, if they have the pills at all. And in overall the service is slow and lack of professionalism that you'd expect from a pharmacy. It's too bad that this is one of the UK biggest pharmacy....
Unorganised, long waiting times with no management of customer expectations. Medication never ready for pick up on time or even on the day. Latest experience is the same. Staff is clearly stressed, out of their depth and does not know how to organise their work. Medication should have been ready yesterday. Went to pick up today, told that it will be ready shortly 10-15 minutes waited around for 20 minutes, still not ready. When asked how long it will take the member of staff said it's not up to her! I left not to miss an appointment. I will have to go back again before closing time, hopefully this time i will get lucky. Unfortunately, as I'm on repeat prescription, this experience is more often than not. They also close at lunch time, when most people could go and pick up their medication while working. No appreciation of customer service. I heard today one of the staff commenting that despite they close people still turn up and wait annoyingly... Time to find another pharmacy....
Went for my flu jab appointment. Only to read a handwritten sign on the counter that they would not be doing flu jabs this week. No prior notice, reason or apology given just told that i had to go next door to the doctors to book an appointment. On the plus side I did buy some deodorant and bath salts from the reduce aisle. That’s the only reason they are getting one star.
