Nice tasty meals, I had jollof, and stewed beef for £14.75 and it tasted so good.A Very lovely and friendly staff attended to me. Quantity of food was also great. However, they need to improve on waiting times. I waited alotttttttt!Food: 5/5
Disappointed as a West African. Heard lots about this place. Only to turn up and pay £10 for non-suya BBQ beef seasoned with a bit of salt and some onions and tomatoes. I’m sadFood: 1/5
My visit to Presidential Suya was marred by numerous issues that left me regretting my decision to dine there. Firstly, the portion sizes were disappointingly small, especially considering the high prices charged for the dishes. It felt like I was paying a premium for very little food. Furthermore, the quality of the ingredients was questionable, with the meat tasting dry and overcooked. Additionally, the atmosphere was lacking, with no effort made to create a welcoming or enjoyable ambiance. Coupled with the indifferent attitude of the staff, this made for a rather unpleasant dining experience!
I have been going to this place for a really really long time and over the years the food size and quality has decreased yet the prices steadily increase. For example my favourite dish is jollof rice with fish. The fish being used now is some type of over fried fish/stock fish, which are now kid sized! Soups even large soups have kid sized fish portions in it too. Yet your prices are adult prices! Greed will be the downfall of some of these food places.
My recent dining experience at Presidential Suya was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this establishment fell short of its reputation. The ambiance was lackluster, with no effort made to create a welcoming or enjoyable atmosphere. The service was equally underwhelming, with slow and inattentive staff who seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to the needs of customers. As for the food, it was a major letdown. The suya lacked flavor and freshness, tasting as though it had been sitting out for too long. Additionally, the portion sizes were meager, especially considering the high prices charged.
My experience at Presidential Suya left much to be desired. Despite the restaurant's bold claims of offering authentic Nigerian cuisine, the reality fell short of expectations. The suya, which is supposed to be the star of the show, was disappointingly bland and lacking in flavor. It seemed as though little care had been taken in its preparation, resulting in a dish that was both uninspired and unappetizing. Additionally, the service was slow and inattentive, with wait times far exceeding what is acceptable for a restaurant of this caliber. Furthermore, the lack of cleanliness in the dining area was off-putting, detracting from the overall dining experience. In conclusion, Presidential Suya failed to deliver on its promises, and I would advise diners to seek out alternative dining options.
Food was nice I got beef Suya, jollof and asked for some stew sauce, came with plantain, onions and tomatoes- decent size portion. The shop could do with a spruce up, need to invest in it make it more inviting for customers. A lot of these places have nice food but the look of the shops can be off putting.
The waiting time was too long. They also mixed up orders and served what had not been ordered. A serious waiter will have a notepad so that they can remember what each table has ordered. This restaurant has serious potential if they can train their staff properly. They are facing serious competition from restaurants that take their work seriously. Please do not take your loyal customers for granted.
The sales rep was very rude and unkind as she spoke harshly to us even when we tried to speak to her nicely she wasn't having it. We didn't get to taste their mealsFood: 1/5
