Unbelievable! I ordered a sheaf of yellow roses for my brother's funeral and was asked did i want them left open or wrapped. I ordered them to be wrapped in cellophane as we were travelling with them to Wales the next day. My husband collected them the next day and was given a small black plastic bucket of water with six roses and foliage dumped in it. No cellophane or ribbon, nothing. He took them back and complained and came back with an untidy "bunch" of cellophane and a scruffy hessian "bow" tied around them. I took them back and asked for a refund and got a very rude response from the staff. I queried why the bucket of water and was told it was for ease of transportation. I said the slightest touch on the brake of our car and water would slosh everywhere. The assistant said she told my husband he could put the bucket in the footwell. What???! Apparently the assistant (and I use the word loosely) who served me had just written "cello" on the original order. I got a refund of my money (£35) which was overly expensive. All this hassle on the day of my brother's funeral before we'd even left the house. Went to Tesco on the way to Wales and got a beautiful bouquet of flowers, professionally wrapped containing NINE roses and Lilies for £15. I would strongly advise anyone NOT to use Wendy's florist and travel a little bit further afield for better quality and a more respectful service. Totally disgusted customer.

Ordered & picked up flowers today for my new granddaughter's birth and was very disappointed. But for the fact that I was already running late I'd have refused them. The display was disappointing and a couple of the flowers looked bruised like they were already days old. At £27 it wasn't overly cheap. I wasn't impressed and a little embarrassed handing them over to my daughter in law.
