Can't fault this place. Location is spot on in city centre but no noise at night or at any time.nStaff on reception and at breakfast are also friendly and helpful.nFood at breakfast was really good, fresh, updated, and plenty of it. My guest was a veggie and asked chef for veggie sausages, and he brought it to our table when ready. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, full English, cereals, pastries, pancakes, and crumpets.nDefinitely stay again.
For a hotel chain as large as this, they for some reason don't provide any shampoo and conditioner in your room. You simply get 2 types of body wash. Very odd. The rooms were fine. Looking a little run down and the exhaust fan in the bathroom sounded like it was a lovely complaining about being on, but the staff were amazing and super helpful and fun to talk with
Probably, one of the worse place I've stayed in. To begin with, there was no toilet paper. Had to go down to reception immediately before anything happens. The room itself is run down and out dated. There is nothing praiseworthy about it. Likewise, the toilet is rather uninspiring. Some pump is running constantly and makes a noise every few seconds. I have no idea what it is. But it makes going to sleep rather difficult. Luckily, I didn't have to spend too much time in here. Should have paid a little bit more for the Samuel Ryder down the road.
Bed Bugs! Very disappointed waking up 4am to bed bugs in my bed! Even had email from hotel to give full refund because they found not just the one in room!! Never much staff about to be served at bar. I was pleased with are stay last year for Christmas had no problems. But definitely not going back to this premier inn!
Had a large accessible room. Bed was comfortable. Large TV. There was a faulty lamp with an electrical failure tag on it but was left in the room for some reason. The bathroom tap only ran cold and was so powerful it was nearly impossible to use without spraying yourself out the floor with water. The air con worked well but would reset every few hours so kept getting warm overnight. Little niggles but I'd prefer not to have them. Staff were very helpful though.
