I had a very good stay at this premier inn. The room was lovely, it was very clean and well provisioned with coffee and tea available. The bathroom was clean and bath/shower gel was provided. I had an evening meal which was excellent, reception booked me a table on arrival and my food came quickly after ordering, and the mixed grill was very tasty with a perfectly cooked steak. Breakfast was a buffet but was all fresh and well cooked. I had a great stay and would gladly stay again
Room a little dated and cold…. Brilliant staff who are an asset to this branch , bar staff lovely , reception staff very helpful, Mark in particular from the kitchen very passionate about the food he sends out to us customers, the lady at breakfast don’t know her name…. Her appearance is long hair always on shift during my stay… very attentive knowing I didn’t have time for breakfast in the restaurant but made sure I had food to go amazing service…. I stay in many premier inns due to my work , Gateshead is up there as the best for customer service this is the most important thing of my stay please pass on my recognition to the team I would gladly stay here again Camille Food & drinks: Comments above
The hotel serves its purpose as an overnight stay close to Gateshead, Newcastle and also not far from Newcastle Airport. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Has its own bar and restaurant within the hotel. The restaurant was OK, a few items on the menu were no longer available, which affected the choice of evening meals available. Breakfast was buffet style and offered lots of choice and the quality of food was very good. The general hotel appearance is OK, but it is ready for a general refurbishment of public areas,. NOTE: This hotel is in Gateshead area on an industrial estate and not in Newcastle as name suggests, there are Premier Inn's in Newcastle itself if you're looking to visit Newcastle city centre.
Hotel was fine, room very good and staff very friendly. Please be aware that the car park is operated by UKCPS. I arrived at 17.20pm the car park has very poor lighting and it was raining. I mistakenly parked in a disabled spot as I could not see the sign, I only noticed the sign the next day when I checked out. Im happy to pay the £60 fine but this is a warning to other people that stay at this hotel.
Visited the north east for a weekend break, chose Premier Inn Team Valley due to proximity to Newcastle city centre and cost - very reasonable rates! Staff very friendly on check in and check out, room clean with no concerns to report. Would highly recommend and would stay again if in the areaRooms: 5/5
We had a great stay. Everything meets expectation. Friendly staff. Very comfortable beds, and good water pressure. The building surrounded by offices. 10 mins drive to the quayside.
Excellent close to shopping centre, spotless, quiet beds so comfortable we overslept ,missed breakfast one day.Breakfast was great food n choice was Exellent.will use again definitely. Staff on reception so friendly and helpful .Rooms: 5/5
Nice and cozy hotel. Great price under 40 quid and very well maintained. Love this place, good for a lay-by and also trip to Newcastle or the North!
Certainly warrants Five Stars !!! Professional courteous friendly staff, who provided excellent customer service from arrival through to end of our visit. One staff member especially deserves credit, can't recall her name, but she went above and beyond when we ordered a meal delivery via 'JustEats' as there was an issue when the driver attempted to confirm delivery having provided him with the code I was given, which his service app rejected multiple times, to his frustration and my annoyance at having to return to my room and provide my laptop etc to. The young lady stepped in to assist as she could see I was getting annoyed. Trying to get into contact with JustEats is a joke as they have no customer service email or contact number. Other than that, we had a really pleasant restful visit and the bed was really too comfortable giving us two good nights of sleep ready for a busy day ahead. Rooms: The room was well maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, with fresh clean towels in the bathroom a very clean and comfortable bed with provided two full nights of comfortable and relaxing undisturbed sleep. Nearby activities: For the purpose of our stay there was adequate activities nearby which we did not really make use of, being from Newcastle originally, we chose the hotel for its actual location for the purpose of our visit. Food & drinks: The food was delicious and very fulfilling thou with an 'all you can eat' breakfast buffet and a mouthwatering evening menu you could not find a better place. As for the drinks menu, whilst somewhat limited you will not be disappointed and certainly won't sting your pocket.
Staff all very friendly. What can I say but northern hospitality is great. All the staff are very polite and very welcoming Big smiles with that northern "Patar". The beds are comfy, rooms very clean, plenty of coffee and mini chocolates. The food is very good, not too pricey and the menu is very diverse. Buffet was fry up and continental with different beverages and fruit salad and different choices of cereal. You know what you are getting with Premier Inn. Anybody who says this is a bad hotel can sit on their thumb. Would recommend if your traveling for work, City break or budget stay. 10-15 mins drive from City Centre Gym, Subway, Greggs ,BP Garage and other shops in same strip. Free parking
