Me and my friends went into the Roebuck for a party for our friends’ 18th. Most of us were 18 or over and we ordered alcoholic drinks. Those under 18 didn’t. However, one person under 18 has a small sip of an alcoholic drink and the manager came and immediately told us, quite rudely, that we need to leave. She proceeded to take away every drink at the table, including a water. I am over 18, I don’t see why my alcoholic drink had to be taken from me, and why the manager was so rude to us from the start. I wouldn’t be so angry if she had been more polite about it, but she then denied another over 18 at our table a glass of Pepsi. Why? Very annoyed, and a party ruined.

This review pertains to this and one previous visit to the roebuck. Both times ordered my favourite - southern fried chicken wrap and they have not used the Southern Fried sauce, but rather this horrid sour dressing! Meal ruined and money wasted - stop it!

Called in for breakfast. Excellent quality and helpful staff. Would definitely visit again and will recommend to others.

Horrible service. Rude female manager. Didn’t get asked for ID when ordering food and shandy for a table with over 18s that showed ID when asked. Was asked to leave and all drinks were confiscated

Terrible service. We were removed after 10 minutes for “drinking under age” even tho those who were 18 showed ID. I also had my water taken away?? The time before a man was puking on the floor while everyone got there food around him. Disgusting
