I can't fault the company. Friendly customer service when you call to book, and they come when they say they will, unlike a few other companies in the area. I wouldn't use a different company now. All the drivers I've had know where they're going and are nice and polite.
Terrible experience over the weekend with Streamline taxis. Missed a ferry on Saturday and almost missed it again on Sunday due to drivers taking forever to pitch. I booked via the app with the correct address at 8am for 10am. My driver only arrived at 10.35am. One is also just told you are in a queue and have to wait for the next available car-what is the point of then pre-booking on the app! The managers at the ferry was even aware of this bad service!
As many other people have said about this taxi company....absolutely disgusting. If I could leave a minus 5 star review I would. The driver was extremely rude to my wife entering the rear of the taxi holding onto the back of his seat. While we were travelling to our destination he was messaging his wife or girlfriend using WhatsApp...I do believe that is illegal while driving...and this is a personal driver. On reaching our destination we were charged TWICE the fare of the exact same journey we had made in the morning with a different taxi company. Think my review says it all !!!!!
From Wimborne Merley to Dolphin centre it costed 18.60 when we arrived. The driver somehow turned it into 19.40 by clicking a button. I'm not sure what the extra cost was, he didn't explain it to me... Rude, isn't it.
Tried booking a taxi from sandford holiday park to poole railway station, spoke to a lady who said they could get us a taxi in an hours time and we had to pay up front. We were okay with this as long as we got to our train on time which we were assured we would. We were then put on hold for 10 minutes as the lady tried to sort out our taxis however another lady picked up the phone and told us this wouldn’t be possible. This is unacceptable to cowardly pass us on to someone else after misleading us into thinking we would have a taxi. This is disgusting service as we also have an elderly in a wheelchair who needs the assistance.
Quick, efficient & decent. They've also changed their telephone booking process which is much better, & more user friendly than their previous system
On 29 Mar I shared a taxi with a random fellow traveller from Bournemouth Airport, the cabbie in poor English agreed to take £15 fixed fare to Moordown. Only minutes later, he said he wanted £15 per person. When he stopped at the destination so we could pay and take luggage, he started driving off with the lady right in the door, breaking her fingernail. It's simply a dangerous behaviour that should result in licence revocation. I called PRC to make a complaint, only not to hear from them again. After a scene of rudeness and aggression made by the driver, he took £15 as he'd agreed at the start. I suspect PRC never called me back about the complaint, as I used to be their driver and they do not respect their drivers, or customers, or anyone, driven only by money. I will be contacting BCP council about this.
If only you were able to leave a ZERO! Awful experience with PRC yesterday 6.8.22 avoid this firm if possible despite limited competition locally! This is the first time we have gone back to using taxis since Covid, having planned a lovely evening out 6 of us in total. Having pre booked one of their 6 seaters weeks ago I should've had a feeling things weren't going to plan when I received an email stating our pick up was "on hold" due to a location issue. When I called I spoke to a really rude receptionist he advised that my request for a 6 seater would be a Ford Galaxy or equivalent which may be a squash with our luggage but we couldn't have the advertised 8 seater as that can't be 'guaranteed' ?! However we researched Ford Galaxys and were confident everything would fit on laps etc however the car that turned up over 20 mins late! to collect us wasn't fit for purpose.....unsure of what type of vehicle it was but certainly should not be advertised/nor be able to be booked to carry 6 adults let alone any small items of luggage! The fact the car was late having been booked ages and then could not carry us all started our evening on a very sour note having to leave 2 of our party behind waiting for another car...each time I called their office I struggled to understand the receptionists, very mumbly and disinterested in speaking with customers despite this being their job! and they were extremely rude in their tone, advice and ability to answer any questions regarding booking/timing honestly. My husband and father in law who travelled in the 2nd car reported how poor the driver's knowledge of the area was and with regard his road safety there were a number of concerns with their driving experience with him. Our return car was late but what a difference, a Ford galaxy as had been promised! friendly driver with the ability to get us all in one car with everything and willing to go above and beyond for his passengers! If they were unable to accommodate the booking for 6 people with luggage why accept this booking or advertise this option? A really disappointing experience and was embarrassing for something we had tried to organise to maximise the enjoyment of an evening out.
Alex was amazing driving me from Bournemouth to Weymouth when I was stranded after the storm. Very lovely man and service. Made me feel very safe. Gave me a receipt so I’m able to claim my money back. Thank you so much to Alex who is from Venezuela and PRC streamline taxis.
Really unhappy. Booked a taxi through the app - the booking was accepted and the payment taken from my bank account, only for it to be cancelled with no communication five minutes before the agreed pick up time. I only knew it was cancelled after checking the app when the taxi didn't show up. Late for work and still waiting for a refund. I will not be using this company again.
