Best car rental place I’ve ever been to. Phone call booking, car pick up and return all dealt with professionally, quickly and with a smile. No hassle, vehicle was ideal for towing a caravan and felt like I was a customer rather than a number. Thank you.

Just dropped my car back off and have to say the service and customer care at Practical is just second to none! I accidentally booked my car for pickup on Christmas Day but was called almost straight away to be explained they weren't open and alternatives offered. The communication was great which I really value, prices were competitive and the car was lovely to drive. Will definitely be going back and I can't recommend them enough! :)

Used Practical to hire a van one Saturday morning. Due to my misunderstanding of the ID requirements I was one form of ID short (my mistake, nobody elses). Stacey in particular was especially helpful and demonstrated empathy to my situation even though she had probably seen this a hundred times before, and she assisted me to go online to locate my proof of ID that way, thereby saving the day. 
All in all a very professional outfit, and I will definitely consider them the next time my plans involve van hire!

In a word? Farcical. Don't expect your booking to be available. Seems you are able to book vehicles online that aren't actually allocatable. Ended up having to walk away in subzero temps without a vehicle. No offer of a lift, despite it being their fault. Made an official complaint to the head office, then the manager of this store completely fabricated a story to protect herself (no doubt she'll spin the same tales as a reply to this review). Not to be trusted, certainly not to be relied upon.

I have hired vehicles from Practical & used the garage Jordan Motors recently for vehicle repairs &  an MOT'.The staff were professional & the service standards were excellent .The team even delivered the vehicle to my work once the work was complete.I highly recommend the garage for vehicle repairs & the vehicle rental business for great rental vehicles .Very happy customer .
