After going into the store and realising that they had greatly priced condoms, (Durex, one pound versus nearly four in other shops) I decided I would buy a couple of packs. I went to the till, where a lady told me that she would not sell them to me. She called me a little boy, and was extremely rude and belittling. I am 16 years old, and should not need ID, however I was told that if I was to be given them, I would need an ID stating I was 18. I then talked to the manager, who agreed I was "too young" who then asked me to leave, despite me not causing any issue. I could not explain to ANY of the staff that I do not need to be of any age to purchase condoms, because to my utter surprise, not a single member of staff could speak sufficient English. Very disappointed at how the staff were rude, belittling, and patronising, before they then made me leave due to their poor English language skills. I was not rude, and was mostly stunned at how big of a scene the staff made over something so silly.
