I watched as the checkout assistants , were rude to an old couple who perhaps weren’t as fast through the self serve tills. Oh and if you purchase from Poundland and move away from the tills as the assistants were actually RUSHING people through , they will say you cannot by a bag for your items you have just bought and have to re queue WHAT A CROCK. My score is purely based on the lack of customer service provided
Went through self checkout whereby I witnessed one of your employees talking down to an elderly couple who were have issues with their shop. This was around 2pm and this clearly was not good customer service and I will never shop there again .
So pleased to have this store in our local arndale. Friendly staff, great unique items that are constantly changing. Very efficient at stock rotation when Halloween ended and Christmas began. Convenient self service machines to help seed along the process.
It has almost everything you need for a pound, happy days , great for small nick macks , parties bits as well as Xmas bits and bobs, access for wheelchair users is good as well as mums with prams however there is no toilets other than that good store
Some of the staff seem friendly and willing to help you, others don't seem to care. The reliance on self service is what brings it down. There's never anyone at the till to serve you when the self service ones are in use or if an item needs age verifying.
Nice layout, helpful staff and the drinks are 2 for £1.00 which is great in this weather, not sure I would buy the ready made sandwiches or meats but the sweets and crisps are ok.
Love going here just to mooch about or pick up a bargain, ok some items aren't that good but you get what you pay for. Just beware that some items are not £1 but can be £2 or £5, check the price first.
Got 2 plastic ponchos for £1.50 because I had forgotten coat and it started to rain

There is plenty of choice here on offer in store. The staff here are friendly and professional. The store is well set out, it is also clean and tidy.
