Had a fabulous Mum and daughter day. Started with a candlelit spa followed by a neck and back massage (which was really good and relaxing) then a really tasty 3 course meal (with a wide variety of meals on the menu to choose from) after that we had a facial with mini eye treatment. Overall we had a brilliant day. The staff are lovely and pleasant. I would definitely go again 👍

absolutely poor quality, paid extra for a spa candle lit pool for an hour and when we got in the water was cold and could only stay in for 15 minuets, half of the candles had burnt out around the room and 17 of the water jets was missing with just big hole left so was of no benefit and to top it off one of the pool suction grilles was missing which is a huge danger of entrapment. Our hour long massage session started 25 minutes late with out apology and yet still finished at our set time so hence lost nearly half of our massage time. Very very poor overall would definitely not recommend it to anyone and would never go here again.

Had lovely massage and facial and felt really relaxed. The meal we had was lovely and very tactile, I would recommend the spaghetti. My daughter had the burger which also was very nice. The only problem I had is that I thought the place needed updating, I thought it was a bit dark. Other than that very nice day

First and foremost, I am not a person to complain, I actually very much hate doing it. BUT.... we arrived at Portland spa, we asked if our food could be moved to the end of the treatments rather than at the beginning as we’d both had a rather large lunch, this was not allowed. Upon having our light ‘lunch’ at 4:30pm, the therapist came out and told us it was time for our treatments, we still had drinks so she said she was come back in a few minutes, she then cane back and told us ‘I’ve been told to come back and tell you that if you aren’t ready in a few moments, it will come out your treatment times’ so we left our drinks and followed her to the beauty rooms. We had a back massage, a facial and body alignments booked, all at 25 minutes each. Upon entering the beauty rooms, I received a text messaged and look at my phone, putting it back in my robe with out reading to not be rude to the therapists. We lay on the bed, waiting at least 10-12 minutes for them to return, the massage must of lasted the hold of 15 minutes. We then was asked to turn over ready for our facial. I had specially asked for the ESPA facial which was an extra £15. I asked the lady twice whilst having the facial what products she was using for her to tell me she was only using the basic ones. Upon leaving the room I looked at the text message and it had been received 44 minutes ago?!! 3x25 is 1 hours and 15 minutes?! When paying for our drinks the women behind the Till then proceeded to try and charge me for the extra facial?! Very disappointed at this was a Birthday day out!

Had a fantastic relaxing massage today, with hot stones. Can highly recommend to others. Lovely friendly staff, very professional & respectful, a great day.
