Brilliant bar with the best atmosphere in Cardiff. Always a great night due to the entertainment they host and the environment you are in, it's a mix of vintage, retro and trendy making it a very interesting place to spend your night. Service is always great if a little slow at the bar during busy times but that's just what happens if a place falls victim of its own success so speaks more about its quality.

Having not been here for a few years I was immersurably happy to see it was still it's good old self. Always busy without being too busy. Often a good band and always a good crowd. Not too young in attendance and up for a good dance. Definitely a recommendation for anyone to visit either a local or a visitor. Also fantastic place to watch the rugby.

Door staff were unpleasant and aggresive. Toilet door broken. Questionable fire exit if the only entrance is minute!!! Sign outside states warm and friendly, received neither from any member of staff

Bit of a quirky place, very relaxed atmosphere, drinks very pricey though.

Porters has a fantastic atmosphere, not only is it always a really interesting place, they have some amazing live music nights and open mic esque nights. Always great fun. Attached is also TheOtherRoom theatre, an iconic piece of the Cardiff theatre scene.
