I'm glad that the local schools teach kids how to calculate their grocery cost rather than have them just trust that the till will do it for them because EVERY SINGLE TIME I go in this shop they have the wrong total and I'm too socially anxious to correct them most of the time. I don't know if they do it on purpose or if for whatever reason they never put any of the price changes into the system but just make sure you know what price your total should be before you go paying more than you need. Only reason I don't put this lower is bc they stock some things that you can only get up the road which is nice.
I called the Post Office on the off chance they would have a copy of a local history book I've been trying to track down, they checked, they did, and within a couple of minutes a copy was winging it's way to the South West UK. Extremely helpful, cheerful and friendly staff and a very easy transaction, thank you very much!
