Lovely food and great service! however the delivery driver is very rude, throws around the word "respect" when as soon as my partner answers the phone after the 3rd attempt, ripped into him cause he couldn't see the numbers on the door which were VERY CLEARLY there. He wore no mask and tried shoving receipts into my face breaching the 2 meter rule. When I turned to go in, he made a cough-hacking sound and muttered under his breath staring at me driving off... please Poppadom palace, get someone new to do your deliveries cause he is losing a lot of your custom!!!
I order from here every weekend. Lovely fantastic and tasty food, always comes piping hot and not too long to wait for order compared to other takeaways. I would recommend the chicken kebabs and the chips are great. My only complaint is one particular deliver driver, who is miserable and very rude. Think he's foreign and possibly Polish. If you don't like your job then get another my friend, simples.
Last night 3 friends and I ordered from popodom palace, when we got our food, the rice was overcooked for the curry and the sauce tasted awful, the chips tasted like they were stale and had been warmed up, the garlic bread was cold and the chicken looked grey inside and did not taste nice either. Neither of us were able to finish our food and did not feel well after eating what we could of it. The delivery driver then rang up to check he had delivered it, unsure why and when we told them on the phone that the food did not taste good the man did not say a word and then hung up the phone. I do not expect 5* food by all means from takeaways however I expect some quality after spending 28 pound all together and afterwards I was quite concerned after reading the hygiene rating online for this takeaway and was shocked to see that this place had a rating of 1 which worries me. Definitely would not go to this takeaway in the future.
Chicken burger sizzler was not worth £4.50, and still using a card charge even though it was banned on 13 January this year is ridiculous, no refund given or offered after complaining. Shocking food, shocking service and a downright rip off. I wouldn't feed it to a rat.
Shameful. I went there sober at midnight night and personally witnessed that the staff attempted to charge more than the advertised price to inebriated students and also attempted to short change them as well as me! When I picked up the cashier Who I got the impression that he may have been the owner on not giving me the correct change he put is hand up Yes he showed me the hand! and walked away and continued to ignore me.
Ordered food earlier tonight. It arrived within 30 minutes, was piping hot and everything we ordered was delicious. Great take away.
Their food is not bad and their service is not that good either bad. Their floor is slippery if it's raining outside so watch out. I almost twisted my knee and workers respond with no it's not slippery. Okay.
Food arrived home delivery. Hot . Loads of it. Within 30 minutes of telephone order. The best cheesie nan abd pasander was perfect
Wow amazing food specialy pizza and donner Kabab. I love visiting this place with my family. We all enjoy food from Papadom Palace. 5 starss
Awful Food. Perhaps 80% sugar. Tasted Fake. Pasanda and Masala tasted the same - BAD! Not eating from there again.
