Story

Sheffields biggest little bar would like to invite you, the good folks of Sheffield to join us in our cosy lounge bar or on our heated terrace for ice cold beers, chilled wines, hot coffee and everything in between. Not to mention great homemade burgers, fresh salads and indulgent desserts!

ISSUES WIRH OVECHARGING I have been to both popolos in sheffield and newcastle. been to popolos in Sheffield at least 50 times over last 5 years and always enjoyed the cocktails, the bar staff and door staff are generally great. Always go for at least one drink if out in downtown. However a very disappointing experience tonight where i went in with friends ,4 of whom never been to popolos. as 3 couples we ordered drinks separately. The bartender i placed an order with over charged us by about 5 pounds although cocktails were well made. On further inquiries with manager after checking prices for our drinks , i was told that the bartender had opened up a cider bottle for a girl standing next to me?? i showed him my group and he could not identify the girl. I then told him that i had never placed an order with him for a cider and as to why he would charge me for someone else s drink. After apologies and offer to buy me a drink, i told him that i was disappointed with such service and he could keep the change as tips for bar staff. This raises issues with probity of the bartender making the cocktails
