Had a great meal here. The waitress Courtney I think her name was , was lovely. The food was great but pasta tad hard to my liking. The arancini were my favouriteFood: 4/5
We waited about 40 minutes for the starters to arrive and another 40 minutes for the main courses. In total, we spent 1.5 hours just waiting. The service quality was poor, the portions were small, and paying £17 for a few ravioli is absolutely horrendous considering the portion size, waiting times, and low level of customer service. We could see other people at the restaurant also weren’t too happy with the quality offered. I will never dine at Ask Italian again. I honestly spent 27£ on both the starter and main alone and still left the place hungry, I had to dine at a Chinese place afterwards
Nice enough atmosphere, nice food just not enough of it!! Paying £15 for a main meal, I expect to be full after. We had to go to McDonalds after as we were still very hungry. I had the fettuccini bolognaise and my boyfriend had seafood linguine. Very tasty but as I said tiny portions, thought I got the kids meal by mistake. Just disappointing. We had a cheese fondue starter which I can’t fault, it was delicious. However, after our starter it took about 45 minutes to receive our mains. Far too long, it wasn’t too busy either. Left feeling hungry and disappointed. Also the waiting staff had no uniform, thought I was getting seated and served by a member of the public, they were friendly enough it was just very odd. I won’t be eating here again
I ordered a takeaway from here and they didn't send the lasagne we ordered. The pasta was dry and the dishes were terrible. Nothing like the pictures or descriptions e.g the carbonara was meant to have a whole burrata on top but that was missing. I could have made something nicer in 15 minutes, so what a waste of £65 . They also kept the driver waiting for nearly half an hour. It was my mistake for ordering from somewhere like this...I'll stick with Food Target in future which is always fabulous and serves actual Italian food.
Popped in here on the off chance of getting a table and was seated straight away. Service and atmosphere was excellent. Food and drink both first class.Food: 5/5
Had a wonderful last minute evening out before going to the theatre. We managed to get in despite it being Valentine's day! We had the valentines day set menu, great price and choice. I only took one photo as I was so excited to dive into the dishes! Had a lovely night and will certainly visit again!Food: 5/5
Visited here while enjoying a weekend away, for a chain we were thoroughly impressed, we were expecting a good standard but this was above and beyond the food was delicious, the service was great. Really hope the local Ask Italians are as good in the midlands.Food: 5/5
We hadn't booked a table but was able to choose our own, a surprise on a sunny Saturday afternoon. John was our server & was absolutely lovely. Very friendly & very informative, especially about my dietary needs. Our food was delicious & the place had a lovely atmosphere. It was our 1st visit to Ask Italian Sheffield & won't be our last. Only down side was the drinks are over priced. Thank you John, you made us feel very welcome Dietary restrictions: I'm coeliac
Nice Italian restaurant in the city centre, staff very kind and helpful. Got very lucky to walk-in and have a seat in Sunday evening. Courtney and Isaac looked after us and they were amazing. Even though it was busy they were working really hard and all our food came very quick. Delicious food and good service.Food: 5/5
First got grossed out by how the caprese salad looked, but it tasted nice Also recommend to try their pasta with purple basil pesto Also try this pizza which had artichoke, fontina cheese Absolutely loved itFood: 5/5
