Came here to visit the museum, which is accessed through the tea room and the shop which are nearer to the front of the property. A compact array of exhibits which make the absolute best of the space they have at their disposal. A must for any fan, though I would suggest the free entry and quality of the exhibits within would make it a point of interest for a much wider audience.
We went yesterday as a table of 9 and we couldn’t fault 1 thing. It was so busy, we queued to get in and they were so accommodating. The food was delightful as was the drinks - mushroom pizza delicious, scones lovely and milkshakes were done perfectly. The teddy bear sandwiches and toast were an absolute hit, something for all the family here. Staff were so lovely and attentive and funny, we really enjoyed our visit and think it’s so worth a trip for anybody wanting to explore Christopher Robins neighbourhood. Surpassed our expectations ! Well done guys - this is English hospitality done very well :
We were lucky enough to score a table outside on a beautiful day! Very cute tea room that was all Winnie the Pooh themed, I love that they stayed on brand!nWe ordered the jacket potato which was HUGE, definitely could feed 2 people and then the cream tea which was pretty good.nThe museum was very interesting and cool! And a great place to visit as well as Ashdown forest!
My friend and I are taking a trip to Canterbury and popped in here on our way down as a planned visit. Be aware that this establishment is on a main road through a village, so parking is difficult to find. The staff in the tearoom were very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I had some teddy bear toast and a coffee. I mean isn’t it the cutest thing you’ve ever seen? Toast in the shape of Winnie The Pooh! The museum is small but cute and quaint. The prices of museum items is a little steep, for example I wanted to buy a really lovely bookmark but it was £4.99 so I left it. We walked to the nearby landmarks and of course had to engage in a game of Pooh Sticks! It’s a wonderful place for young children. I highly recommend it:
Absolutely lovely every time we go. We usually start with some food at the tea room. They have space inside and outside, I do recommend coming early, cause it does get kinda busy. They have lovely scones and their tableware is adorable. Our kid loves the famous pooh toast. We never have to wait long for the food and drinks to arrive and the service is great!nThey have a small gift shop which has a rotating inventory. Both bigger and smaller stuff, from pretty cheap to more expensive. They always have a nice selection of books, stuffed animals and cards. These days they even have pooh toast souvenirs, which I recommend getting!nWe really like the museum. There is lots of information and beautiful items. They also have some Marry Poppins stuff.nYou can get a map for the pooh walks here, which was 1,50 pound which is really cheap in my opinion. The map is of very sturdy material and has so much information on it. You can do a walk from the Pooh Corner to the Pooh Bridge and House, although I recommend going to the free parking spot and walk from there. You will pass Piglets and owls house and if you go over the bridge you will get to Pooh’s house. You can also drive a bit further and visit some other Pooh spots, which are a bit harder to find.nIf you get a chance, visit this amazing place with its kind people.
