We've been coming here since 2017 and it's always absolutely sensational. Delicious breakfast with fried potatoes and particularly scrummy sausage. Everything top quality ingredients. And the scone. Raspberry and hone made honeycomb. Wow! Fantastic service. Very efficient despite being very busy. No doubt that this is the place to come in Wetherby!
Highly recommended. Excellent dog friendly Cafe with the most delightful and helpful staff. Good food and beverage menu, see photos. The food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. There are a few tables inside and also much more outdoor covered seating. Wheelchair friendly in a pedestrianised street.
Absolutely delicious breakfast had by us all. Food was top quality, piping hot and really tasty. Teas and coffee were also strong and hot. Service, as always was with a smile and a chat. The owners and staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, they are so friendly and cheerful and all are excellent at their jobs. A definite return visit needed.
I met some friends here for breakfast this morning. I hadn’t been before but thought we would give it a go as it was a recommendation from another friend. The food top notch, and the staff were very helpful, chatty and just made it a real pleasure. The 3 of us agreed to return again very soon. Thank you Pomfrets for a lovely breakfast and wonderful atmosphere.
Incredibly busy and short staffed, hence queue time for a table and further wait for food, but staff all very cheery, jovial and efficient. You don't mind the wait if it's worth it and it was. Dog friendly establishment. Outdoor seating to the front on the pavement. More seating upstairs. Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options available. I had a Fentimans ginger beer and scrambled eggs on toast. Lots of plentiful good home cooking: homemade soups, homemade chips, homemade pastries and cakes. Mmmm n a nom nom. A revisit methinks.
A lovely cafe, we can recommend the bacon sandwiches, lemon cake, tea and coffee. Friendly helpful waitresses and reasonable prices. We will defintely eat here next time we visit Wetherby.Food: 5/5
Visited Wetherby on 20.1.22 with me m8 on the MTB . Decided on this café, very nice Latte and the service from all members of the Team was great. Only problem was we wished we'd sat inside as it was Blumin Freezing that day
Very friendly and welcoming, we sat outside on the seating area within The Shambles and had a couple of cappuccinos and scones. Coffees were some of the best we've had in our week up North, and the scones were delclicious, and also unusual flavours in blackcurrant and rhubarb. There are other choices too. Watching the staff, it was great to see them being so appreciative of custom with everyone they greeted.
Ideal stopping point mid way south. Coffee and bacon/sausage one way, roast beef baguette on way home. Dog friendly, lovely staff, clean loo.
Horrific service from rude owners and terrible hygiene. The coffee was cold and tasted to the resemblance of dish water, and the milk had very clearly gone off. The food was poor too. Never again.
