I popped in for a takeaway coffee. I didn't get acknowledged by any staff when I joined the queue and I was waiting a long time. A couple came in and they weren't acknowledged either. They asked me if it was the correct end of the queue to which I replied that I hoped so as I too was waiting to be served. The order for the customer in front was made incorrectly and there was a guy waiting at a table and his hot sandwich had been left in the toaster and forgotten about. I eventually got served but the staff were having their own conversations and weren't engaging with customers. I would not visit again and would not recommend to anyone
Hardly ever visit this Costa but it was cold and raining so we went in for a coffee. The Costa on the whole is great and I'm sure traffic has increased as on occasion you catch the leeds legend. Toilets need a serious clean or even an upgrade. For the amount you pay for a drink and snack AND to sit in the venu I'd like a decent toilet to go to that's clean.
Went there got a coffee it was like warm milk and water very little coffee in it at all could hardly taste it it was either all ready used coffee or they have cut down on the amount they put in when i pay top price for something i expect top goods not happy i gave it back and told them to throw it down the sink

I am a regular to this Costa Coffee and this morning I was disappointed by the attitude of the Staff 10.05.23 - 6:15am. The table where I wanted to sit was dirty as were other tables. The place was empty therefore there was no excuse not to clean the tables. When I asked for the table to be cleaned I was greeted with a smirked grumpy face and the service was no better. This is not what I would call great Customer Service for the price you pay for a Coffee!!
The mainly low stars are due to the drink I had today. I love bubble tea and therefore their new bubble tea drinks looked great from the picture. That's where the positive ends. It tasted like boring juice, the straws aren't big enough for the bubbles and it's overall a big dissapointment. Not happy with this at all sadly.Food: 2/5
The warming Hot Choc was lovely but the customer service was lacking. We had to ask about something and the server didn't make eye contact once and I'm not sure if he knows what a smile is. The guy making the drinks made up for it as he was very positive but the cashier :. You can do better Costa.
it's always a lovely welcome,plus one of your staff put your app on my phone for me, Annabelle was so helpful,so now we get a free coffee every week,yahoo all the staff are really pleasant and so helpful,not to mention the superb coffee of course,thank you Costa
Refurbished Costa Branch in Wetherby town centre,. More spacious and brighter.
UPDATE: SInce my original review Costa has had makeover and WOW what a difference it's made! Whilst its not a total change of interior layout what's been done is stunning. Firstly there's a new counter - it's lower and and and far more customer friendly - and espresso machines. Then the seating area has been slightly re-planned and all the old furniture has been replaced with modern comfortable seating and tables. The whole place is a lot more inviting and welcoming, it makes you want to go back. The staff, I believe have changed too. Welcome back to Wetherby Costa! ________________________________ I like Costa but this branch is too small, is dark and dismal. Always have to ask for table to be wiped clean. Pleasant staff though!
